I didn't have the best experience here at Salon Azur I knew it was going to be a busy day. I had told them that I had to be back at hotel at 11am they said that they understood this but they insisted that we start at 9am I thought we would need more time but they said 9am. Four people in less then two hours plus my makeup yeah I don't think so. We didn't end up leaving till a little after 11am. Grrrrr.
The hair: I really loved my hair it was done by the sr. Stylist Shannon I wish I could say the same for my moms hair, I felt she could have taken more time which we didn't have. My mom really lied the way my matrons hair was done and wanted it like here's that didn't happen. My little flower girl and matron had the jr. Stylist Kince, which he was pretty good he did a great job with my matrons hair but not so much with the flower girl. Her hair was straight going in to the salon and straight going out the only difference was a headband, it was like he combed and put a headband in. Not impressed, I could have done that.
Makeup: My makeup was done by Jenna, this was the best of Salon Azur, she did a great job and was well worth it! It was beautiful and she gave me lipstick for the rest of the day and some little tips on makeup along the way!
Overall Besides my makeup I could have went someplace else and received better service. Wouldn't go back.

I fell in love with an updo that a stylist did at Azur and booked my wedding party there. The owner Joseph assured me that I could reserve the whole rear of the salon for my bridal party and we could bring in food and have great time getting our hair done together, so I signed the contract and paid 1/2 down. He later called to say he couldn't do what he'd agreed because he was short staffed, and that we'd have to start at different times. I was disappointed but decided it was too late to try another salon. At least those whose hair was done could hang out with the others finishing up.

When we arrived on my wedding day, we were not really greeted -- it was as if they forgot we were coming and were scrambling to figure out what to do. This despite a reminder call to me the day before about my hair appointment, and I reminded them I'd be coming with my bridal party. Finally my stylist ushered me into a chair -- in the front of the salon, while my Maid of Honor was ushered to the back. Salon Azur seated us separately, so I couldn't see or talk to her. I asked about this and was told by my hair stylist that the seating together "didn't work out" with no explanation, apology, or compensation. Since the whole point of bringing my party in was bonding time, this was a big disappointment for me. The owner Joseph was present but didn't look at me or speak to me, despite walking by several times. My impression was that he was avoiding me. I considered making a fuss but it was my wedding day and I chose not to. Our hairstyles and makeup were absolutely perfect, Kimberly and Shan are the best! But I felt let down by the management of my special day at Salon Azur, and realized that I hadn't gotten the terms of being seated together in the contract, trusting that Joseph's verbal agreement would be honored; it wasn't.

I wouldn't want someone else to be disappointed on their big day, which is why I'm writing this review. I won't be back to Salon Azur.
