Our food was the best! They were so easy to work with!

When I booked a wedding venue outside of Statesville, NC, I was at a loss for a caterer until I remembered the Salem Kitchen. (I used to live in nearby Kernersville.) Although the wedding was just weeks away, to my delight, they were able to provide the food for the reception. Since it was short notice, all their delivery trucks were already scheduled and they couldn't deliver to us, but since I knew how great their food is, that wasn't a problem for me -- I had a family member pick up the food the morning of the wedding.

Before I remembered Salem Kitchen, I had priced several other caterers, and so I can attest that their prices are very reasonable. At a wedding reception, your guests will almost certainly include someone who's a vegetarian, someone on a diet, someone with food restrictions. Salem Kitchen offers a great selection of appetizers, so that you can offer something to satisfy everyone. Everything was great -- my guests were very complimentary about each dish. I could not have been more pleased.

The staff was great to work with. Actually one of the food trays was "buried" under another customer's order, and since I hadn't thought to tell my family member to double check the food against the list, that tray wasn't picked up. Frankly, we had so much food, and everything tasted so good, that I didn't realize that dish was missing until later in the evening. Before I even had a chance to contact them, the Salem Kitchen contacted me to apologize for the omission, and promptly refunded the cost.

I was very impressed with the quality and taste of the food, the cost, and their customer service. I highly recommend the Salem Kitchen to cater your wedding reception.

I thought Salem Kitchen did a great job for our wedding as far as service goes. They were very helpful in many ways. However, communicating with them was a little tricky. It was hard to get our questions answered via email and I ended up figuring out that it was best to make an appointment and talk in person. They offered suggestions and advice, which I appreciated since we had never planned a wedding before! So I would give a great rating to their staff. Unfortunately though, I found the catering menu to be rather limited. They ended up being able to provide the type of food that we wanted, but on our wedding day it was not very flavorful. I did not really enjoy it, but I figured it was just because of all the excitement. We did not get much great feedback from any of our guests about it, but thats ok. Life goes on!
