The Saints of Swing did an amazing job at our wedding! My husband and I are both musicians, so we were picky about the music, and we greatly prefer the music of the 40s and 50s, so the Saints of Swing were perfect for us. Their musicians are AMAZING. I was blown away by one of the musicians who played the trumpet and piano at the same time. All the musicians are so talented and up-beat. They looked they were having a great time the entire time -- which kept the guests up-beat too!
The band is also completely accommodating. Due to our long distance relationship and our international guests, my husband and I were having difficultly deciding not only on the wedding date, but also the state to have it in. All we knew was that we wanted the Saints of Swing, so we booked them first. At that time, however, all we knew was that we wanted them "some weekend in July" in either NY, NJ or CT. They were completely fine with that and had no problem waiting for us to make a decision.
I highly recommend the Saints of Swing mostly because they are amazing musicians that play beautiful music, but also because they are so friendly, professional and accommodating.

These guys are seriously classy. We used them for the first half of our wedding. They also learned a song for us that we used for our first dance (Sea of Love). Could not recommend them enough!

Music was a very important part of our wedding. The groom is a musician himself, so we definitely couldn't stand for some cheesy wedding band or DJ. Furthermore, we were working with a vintage vaudeville theme, and we wanted a band that could create that kind of environment for us. We are SO glad we hired Saints of Swing. They were extremely professional and totally willing to work with our theme. They performed an amaaaaazing rendition of "This Little Light of Mine" as my dad walked by down the grand staircase during the ceremony. During dinner, they strolled the dining rooms and played tableside, which was awesome. It really created a lively atmosphere and made for some great photo opps. After dinner, they got people dancing and kept the mood up. We felt like we really were at a 1920s evening of vaudeville. All of our guests complimented us on our choice of bands. I can still hear that awesome music in my head!!

We hired the New York Dream Band, one of the bands managed by Jerry Kravat Entertainment. We were very specific with what type of music to perform when, and the band complied with all of our wishes. We also had a jazz trio for our cocktail reception and they were great. All in all, we were very happy with both bands.
