As someone with a critical eye for photography, choosing a wedding photographer was one of the most important vendor decisions we made. We spent a lot of time researching photographers, and from our first interactions with Sabina, we knew she was the perfect fit for documenting our wedding.

On our wedding day, I was immediately impressed by her professionalism and her unobtrusive yet comforting presence. She seemed to be everywhere at once without ever feeling intrusive, allowing us and our guests to be fully present while she documented the day.

Sabina works with a hybrid digital and film setup, and her equipment alone is impressive- she arrives prepared for anything. More importantly, she has an incredible eye for storytelling. She excelled at capturing organic, candid moments that truly make you feel like you were there. Looking through our gallery, I was struck by how many small quirks, expressions, and interactions she noticed and preserved. She captured not just what happened, but who our loved ones are. Her images are also artfully composed in a way that feels effortless and genuine. It was clear to me that she did not rely on heavy editing to create beautiful photographs; instead, the quality of the images is a testament to her skill behind the camera and her ability to identify flattering angles, her masterful use of light, meaningful compositions, and natural poses in the moment.

One of my favorite memories from the day actually came from waiting out some rain before the ceremony, she checked in to see whether we would prefer that she stay with us or head to the tent to capture detail shots. We asked her to stay, and she ended up documenting some of the sweetest, quietest moments before the ceremony—photos that we now treasure. That moment really exemplified her instinct for knowing what matters.

It rained on our wedding, and so our thought out wedding plan changed rapidly throughout the day as we adjusted to the weather and she effortlessly supported us through the day to make sure rain or shine all of the moments we wanted were captured.

While we didn't have a religious component to our ceremony, it was clear from the way she approached every aspect of the day that she would document any meaningful tradition, religious or otherwise, with great care, respect, and skill.

When my husband and I received our sneak peeks, we had an absolute blast going through them together. We were laughing, reminiscing, and literally gasping at some of the images. The photos felt authentic, emotional, and beautifully crafted, and they immediately transported us back to those moments.

Sabina is a truly gifted photographer with a remarkable ability to tell a story through her images. Her talent, professionalism, and thoughtful approach made us feel completely at ease, and the resulting photographs are something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Sabina is SO talented AND so lovely of a person - the perfect combination for a wedding photographer. She made us feel so at ease while conscientiously capturing both the formal must-have photos and the fun, spontaneous, candid moments. She even had 200 previews to us by noon the next day! During the wedding weekend, one of the vendors you will spend the most time with is your photographer, and I’m so grateful our photographer was Sabina. Sabina is so calm, fun and game for anything. She interacted with our guests so beautifully and made sure we got all of the pictures we wanted while still enjoying our weekend.

We wanted a photographer who would capture the activity and colors of our weekend, and who specialized in more candid pictures. We have only received the teaser album, but so far, the photos are just incredible. We are so excited to see the film photographs Sabina took too.

We cannot rave enough about When We Dance Photo and Sabina! As soon as we met her on Zoom we knew we found our wedding photographer! Sabina was amazing the day of the wedding. She made everyone feel comfortable and took amazing staged photos as well as candid photos. She captured the best organic shots and made everyone feel very comfortable. She was speedy, professional, and lovely all around. She even drove us in her own car at one point during the reception so we could get the pictures by the waterfall we didn't want to miss out on! Sabina is the kind of person who immediately brings a kind, upbeat, and loving energy to the room. From our initial meeting with her over FaceTime, we knew that we had found our gal. My partner and I are not used to being in front of a camera and both had some reservations about doing an engagement shoot about 9 months before our wedding. Sabina put our minds at ease, helped us map out locations in Philly that were special to us, and even helped coordinate outfits with us. Within the first 5 minutes of shooting with her, we both felt totally relaxed and the final product was a million times better than I could have ever anticipated. We wanted more of a fun, silly, colorful vibe and she totally nailed it while also capturing the love and trust we have for one another. We received a sneak peek within a few days and the full gallery in a few weeks. When it came time to get ready for the wedding, Sabina helped us put together a timeline and outline for the evening. She and her associate, Miguel, hung with us and our bridal party all day and night shooting away. We received highlights from the wedding day within a few days and the final full gallery of over 1,300 photos about 9 weeks after the wedding. We could not be more happy with Sabina as a badass business woman, extremely talented artist, and now friend. There is almost too much good to say about Sabina. We have our wedding next year, and I searched high and low for a photographer that hit all my must-haves. I really wanted the style of the photos to feel timeless and not have too much over-editing or filters on them. We also wanted more of an editorial feel because I come from the fashion and design world. Sabina has an extensive background in studio photography, so I knew she could handle the more editorial vibe without making them look staged. She is kind and funny and made my very easily uncomfortable fiance feel great while we shot our engagement photos. They turned out exactly as I had hoped! I have also been struggling to narrow down other folks we need to hire, like a florist and a DJ, and Sabina’s recommendations have helped me deal with analysis paralysis. I would highly recommend you use Sabina for your wedding photography needs!

We hired Sabina to get some photos in Philly after our courthouse wedding. She was extremely patient and great to work with. Pricing was very reasonable and most importantly, the photos are amazing! She got unique shots and I couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend!
