Couldn't have asked for better photos from Ryan! I had this crazy idea to backpack into big pine lakes, get married, and camp out for two nights. finding a photography to hike in with us, capture the whole day perfectly, and camp out with us for a semi-affordable price was difficult to say the least haha. Ryan did everything perfectly. He was professional, communicative and clearly experienced in this type of wedding. He knew the best poses, what time would have to best lighting, and we received the most incredible photos. So grateful to Ryan and would highly recommend him to any adventurous couples looking for the most perfect Sierra wedding!

Having Ryan as our photographer was the best decision we made for our backcountry elopement in Mammoth Lakes. He hiked the 20 mile roundtrip with us to our chosen location and did it all while taking pictures and capturing our trip. We did some night time photos but he captured our wedding in a perfect way. All the photos came out great and we will have these photos to cherish forever. If you need a photographer who is easy to work with and can capture your wedding the way you want and he can give creative direction, then Ryan is the person to do so. We are very happy we had him as our photographer.

I cannot recommend Ryan enough, he is the best! He photographed our wedding and did our engagement photos, both in Mammoth. Ryan is so easy to work with; he is relaxed, organized, responsive, and very go with the flow. Our wedding day was stress-free and he was a huge part of that.

We had the best experience with Ryan for our engagement photos in Mammoth. Ryan is the ultimate pro, but honestly that's the least of it. We hired Ryan for our wedding because of his stunning style, shooting weddings with an eye for the landscape and placing people perfectly in the frame. His editing style is vivid and vibrant, and his eye for color saturation brings the Eastern Sierra to life.

Ryan was incredibly easy to work with, able to jump on the included engagement session on little notice. Throughout the ceremony and reception he was both everywhere and invisible, somehow managing to capture every angle and individual guest in such unique and lively frames. His turnaround times were remarkably quick and his photo-sharing platform is extremely easy to use.

We were glad to have paid for the full 8 hours, having all the getting ready photos and maximum time on the dance floor was totally worth it.

We're going to treasure his images (and he gave us many hundreds) for the rest of our lives. HIRE HIM!

We have nothing but great things to say about Ryan. We got married at Convict Lake (Shale Beach) in May and battled changing weather, logistical challenges, and a tight timeline. Ryan made sure everything went smooth & captured our entire experience so well. He was the absolute last thing I was stressed about!!

He is kind, easy-going, and showed nothing but support; he captured our personalities to a tee. He provided a video/drone option for our ceremony so we had a videographer come and capture our first look, ceremony, and after-photos. They were both incredibly fun to work with - despite the rain & wind, we couldn't stop laughing!

Our wedding ended up taking longer than we had originally booked him for & he was communicative and clear about extending hours while also making it stress-free. He stuck around and captured some incredible shots of our evening. Can't recommend him enough!!!

Then on the morning of our wedding, he met us at sunrise for an offsite shoot across multiple scenic locations. Those photos turned out absolutely magical. And on the day of the wedding, he flawlessly captured every important moment—from beautiful candid shots to portraits of us and our guests.

We decided to elope in Tuolumne Meadows, and while searching for photographers in the area, we found Ryan’s website. We knew right away that he was the perfect choice to document our special day.

From the very first email and call, Ryan impressed us with his humility, talent, and deep knowledge of the area we had chosen. On the day of our wedding, he arrived on time and took us to the most stunning spots around the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge, where we were staying. He helped us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and was incredibly patient when it took longer than expected for our family (six people, most of them over 70) to get ready for the hike to our elopement location.

The next day, we received an email with nearly 300 beautifully edited photos. Every single person we've shown them to has been amazed by Ryan's talent, and we couldn’t agree more! Our photos perfectly captured the magic of our day, and we are so grateful for Ryan’s gift as a photographer.
