We used Russells to cater our wedding reception at Fox Hollow Golf Club. Darek was wonderful to work with. He was so flexible when helping us plan our menu. We couldn't have been happier, the food was wonderful. Our guests are still telling us how good the food was :)

Darek is a phenomenal individual to work with. We got married in St. Paul. Russell's Catering was on a list of recommended vendors so we thought we'd give them a try. Were were hesitant when we realized they were based in Big Lake; but fear not, they have their service model down to a T and the food was FANTASTIC.

Darek provides so much care and attention to detail even before you choose him as a vendor. He setup a wonderful tasting experience that was professional and personal. From that point forward Darek was prompt in replying to us and working with us on our menu. The pricing is incredibly fair, especially given the quality and quantity of food! Russell's also provided our bar service which was likewise quite reasonably priced. He doesn't add-in any crazy additional fees for a champagne toast which was a pleasant surprise after having looked at a few big restaurant-name vendors. Quite refreshing to work with a small business owner AND to work directly with the chef!

It is evident that Darek takes a lot of pride in his work and does his level best to make everything perfect. He does this with a positive and flexible attitude. His staff were equally professional and easy to work with. High praise for Russell's Catering - take the opportunity to work with them if they have your date available!

We had such a great experience with Darek and all of the Russell's catering team and I'm so glad we went with them for our reception caterer. I cannot count the number of people that raved about the food at our wedding... it was seriously overwhelming! The food was amazing, the level of service was great, and we feel like the pricing was really reasonable for what we got. Our experience with Darek was also really good -- he has a high level of integrity and it shows with everything he does with Russell's. We had a few hiccups with a previous venue and Darek was great about rolling with the punches and being flexible with us.
