Royal American Tours.. it made me feel royal!

Royal American Tours was one of the best bus companies I have ever been with. We were looking for a bus company to take me and 14 other friends on a trip to the casino, and I was lucky my wife came across THE company, Royal American Tours. I thought it would be okay, and the prices were good so I thought I would give it a try. Once we called, I knew it would be good, because the woman on the phone was nice, and listened and talked to me as if it wasn’t her job she had to do all day, and she sounded like she was happy. The day of the ride, the driver was there, so that’s a plus, and we went in to a luxurious experience that I will never forget. You may think I’m exaggerating, maybe, but I don’t think so. It was a very nice bus, and the driver made every turn feel like nothing, and made every bump feel smooth. I may have gotten lucky with the driver, but they have a good choice in drivers if they got that one! I’m happy with my choice, and happy that I used this company

Great service

We needed a bus last minute since the company we hired called and cancelled a day before our event and Royal American provided us with a beautiful minibus and a professional driver.

Great experience!

Best experience I've had so far when it comes to limos for weddings.

We chartered a bus to take most of our guests from their hotel to the venue and back so that people didn't have to worry about driving. We also paid extra so that our guests would be allowed to drink on the bus and we would only lose our security deposit if a huge mess was made.

Before the wedding, Taleen, the sales manager at Royal American, was responsive and very helpful. The bus driver, upon delivering the guests to the venue, went into the Groom's room, pre-ceremony, to inform my husband that A.) a guest had spilled water on the bus, so we shouldn't expect to receive our deposit back and B.) he would need to receive a hefty tip from us. When we tried to contact Royal American after the wedding to complain about the bus driver, we never got a response.

Basically, don't use them. They were the only negative about our entire wedding.

This is the WORST company to book your transportation needs with. They are dishonest, greedy, and extremely rude. We hired this company to "save a few bucks" and it was the worst decision we made.

UNRELIABLE SERVICE: On the day of our wedding, the shuttle showed up 1/2 hour late and we ended up having to adjust our entire time to accomodate this.

INEXPERIENCED: At the end of the night, the driver, who clearly had no experience driving these shuttles, actually ran into the wall of the venue TWICE! She got a flat tire and did nothing but complain to us, the other vendors, and even the guests. She was very disruptive and created a really bad mood in the last hours of our wedding. It was a horrible way to end our almost perfect night.

She called the manager who said a replacement was coming but after 2 hours (where we spent time shuttling our own guests in our own cars back and forth to the parking lot), there was no replacement at all! What's really strange is that after 30 minutes of calling her manager, the shuttle was "able" to just drive off without ANY TIRE CHANGED!

UNPROFESSIONAL: I called to explain the situation calmly and after numerous calls and complaints was told they did their job completely - why would we lie? They said they would give me a $100 credit towards future business if I was unhappy. It was a slap in the face.

UNSAFE COMPANY: Just do a quick google search and you will see that there is an article published about them killing one person in an accident and injured over 20 more.

I think the company has a lot to learn from this experience: (1) do not claim that your client is lying (2) drivers need more experience and training (3) drivers need to learn customer service and not be disruptive at weddings and other events (4) drivers should not get upset at the clients, wedding guests, or vendors (5) there should be a back up plan in case an accident happens (6) if back up plan is not fulfilled, reach out to clients to apologize or offer some sort of refund for not fulfilling the contract.

If this company continues to do business, I hope they take this feedback and improve their processes. I hope they keep their future clients safe and happy.
