I recently had the pleasure of working with Ramyar for my elopement wedding at the Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel by the Sea in September 2021, and I was blown away by the creativity and attention to detail that the company brought to my floral arrangements.

When I reached out to the florist about my vision for the wedding thanks to our wedding planner Christa, I mentioned that I was a huge fan of the TV show Smallville and that I was hoping to incorporate some violet flowers into the decor to match a particular episode of the show. The florist immediately understood my vision and was able to suggest several different types of flowers that would fit perfectly with the theme.

On the day of the wedding, I was absolutely amazed by how beautifully the flowers had come together. The violet flowers were incorporated seamlessly into the arrangements, creating a stunning and cohesive look that perfectly matched the episode of Smallville that I had referenced. I had a great time planning the flowers for my wedding with Blackistone! I had a small wedding so I didn’t need much. Other than my bouquet, my groom had a boutonnière and his mother had a corsage.

My bouquet was gorgeous! I got so many compliments on it. It fit my vision so well. Thank you to Robert and his team for making me such a beautiful bouquet!!

Many of my friends spent thousands of dollars on flowers for their wedding, as they used fresh flowers for ceremony decor and reception centerpieces; we decided very early on that we were not going to do that and only wanted fresh flowers for our bouquets and boutonnieres. Despite this, we were not able to find any florists initially within our budget and were almost prepared to go down the DIY route. Then came Blackistone Florist.

I got in touch with Robert from Blackistone, who offered to provide us with a bridal bouquet, four bridesmaid bouquets, eight boutonnieres (one for groom, five for groomsmen, and two for our fathers), and two corsages (for our mothers) at a very reasonable cost. He also threw in some extra flowers for our cake and offered a toss bouquet but we declined since we weren't doing a bouquet toss. I told Robert I only wanted white or cream flowers (no flower preference), little to no greenery, no baby's breath, and nothing too voluminous -- classic and understated.

Robert called a few days before the wedding to confirm drop-off time and ended up arriving super early to the venue on the day of the wedding, which ended up working out fine since the groomsmen were pretty much ready to be pinned. Robert also brought vases to keep the flowers hydrated! Because my bouquet was all (or mostly) roses, it ended up drying wonderfully and is now a beautiful keepsake!

I had an artificial bouquet, but asked Blackistone to match the live flowers as closely as possible. We ordered 3 wrist corsages, 6 boutennieres, and 2 bridesmaid bouquets. Renee was very easy to work with, and very helpful. The flowers were delivered on time and alive.

The floral arrangements for our wedding were absolutely wonderful. Ramyar Siasi, our florist, matched our color scheme to a tee. I had wanted the soft pastels and an all white bouquet for our summer wedding. Peach and white roses, white iris with a blush of purple, hydrangeas, and Italian ruscuss made our centerpieces, ceremony altar arrangements, and the long cascading head table of flowers -breathtaking. We appreciated doing business with this venue and we were pleased with our florist and his upbeat enthusiasm.

I had been in contact with the company multiple times over several months to confirm that our ceremony was still happening regardless of the Covid 19 pandemic. I spoke with them 1 week prior and confirmed again the time and the place. When the day came, no one showed up. I called and it was apparent that the company was not prepared to complete my order that I had paid for. The company tried to make up for it by providing arrangements that were nothing like we discussed. I was incredibly disappointed in the flowers that were provided for our ceremony. It’s really unfortunate, because I had high hopes for them. They went above and beyond during the planning stages but just did not deliver on what I paid for.

Ordered flowers for a funeral visitation. The flowers never showed up. When contacted, they thought it was the next day. They said they would make the arrangement bigger and deliver to the church. No one looks at the flowers at the church. So we paid $84 for nothing. The family we sent it for didn't even know we had sent any. So disappointing and we paid money for nothing as far as I am concerned. I also tried to reach out to them through texting, but no one would respond.
