Emily is amazing! We met at a bridal expo in Allentown and her friendly and outgoing personality really clicked with me. BOOK EARLY to secure your spot. My husband is NOT a picture person... so I knew it would be a challenge and Emily did wonders! Emily is very organized; she touched base with us as we planned to ensure the special moments were captured. Emily/Zarah were timely the day of the wedding; they were friendly and outgoing with all. They really helped us stay on track but also allowed us to have fun and enjoy our day as pictures were captured. We got pictures back and I am AMAZED at all the wonderful pictures we got. All the memories of the day came right back to us; it is fun get to relive the day through the pictures that were taken. Highly recommend Emily and the Rooted Image Photography team.

Emily and Joe were an excellent addition to our wedding day! They arrived on-time and ready to go, with our timeline printed and clipped-on for quick reference. When our schedule was running behind, they quickly reworked our photo timeline so we could still get the photos we wanted and have our ceremony at the planned time. Their communication with us and each other was an all-around valuable asset.

As far as photos go, my husband and I are a bit camera-shy, but Emily discussed this with us ahead of time and she gave us extra direction and encouragement which made it easy to just enjoy the day and each other. We were both shocked at how low stress it ended up being and how much fun we had.

I cannot explain how much we absolutely LOVED Emily & Joe from Rooted Image Photography and I could not emphasize enough what a phenomenal job they did! My husband I got married this past June 2025 and we are so thrilled & grateful that we were able to work with Rooted Image Photography for so many reasons. To begin with the experience itself: Emily and Joe were everything we needed - organized, experienced, efficient, professional, and expert in terms of photography. Beyond the photography/pictures, they were *so much fun* - they were so full of joy, flexible and communicative, with a great sense of humor and so much positivity. They had every picture (with each family member who they knew by name, each pose etc) planned out ahead of time, knew all of our family by name, and worked hard to keep us on our schedule which was truly what made the day so smooth. I appreciated specifically how well Emily communicated with me throughout the whole day (letting me know where we were at, and asking if we wanted to make any changes or adjustments to the schedule as we went etc). She truly knew what she was doing and her advice with each matter was incredibly helpful. My husband and I are not what you would call natural posers and have not been photographed on many occasions so we weren't sure what to expect - Emily and Joe made it so easy and fun not just for us but also for our families and our 18 person bridal party. Emily and Joe knew exactly how to place each person and did so quickly - we were able to get every photo we wanted without sacrificing time away from our wedding & we made it to cocktail hour as we hoped (we didn't do a first look)! We loved that we didn't feel like we spent our entire wedding just posing for pictures. I have been in a few weddings before with multiple friends/bridesmaids and all of us agreed that Emily was our favorite - she was so lovely and added so much happiness to the day but never overstepped. In regards to the photos - they could not have done a better job!!!!!!!! The quality of the photos themselves are fantastic, but as it is with photography it is truly the eye behind the camera that matters. Emily and Joe captured such important & candid moments (even when we had no idea they were happening!) that genuinely tell the story and emotions of the day. Our day was perfect and magical and to look at the pictures is reliving it exactly as it was. The day went by so quickly but having the photos that hold everything in time is so cool. One thing that I really wanted to avoid was focusing on the look of my wedding/pictures over the meaning & purpose behind it - Emily and Joe made this possible and it is very evident in the photos how authentic the experience was because of them. We plan on never having another wedding but would absolutely work with Rooted Image Photography again and again and again. They are absolutely the best and we cannot recommend them enough

Emily and her team made this whole process so easy for us. We were u comfortable in front of the camera but she made us feel relaxed and got natural photos. All of our family and friends commented on how great Emily and her team at Rooted Images were - they were there to capture all the big moments like both our grandpas on the dancefloor or when I was dancing with my waffle fries - and she fit right in. Emily made sure we had enough time to do everything we wanted on the day of (for family photos and made it to cocktail hour). She also made sure we captured all of the photos we wanted. The process was so easy and we absolutely love going through our engagement and wedding photos. The hardest decision we have is which ones to hang up!

We had both Emily #1 and Emily #2 photograph our wedding in April 2025 and they did phenomenal!! Before I even got our pictures back, I knew Emily paid attention to details.. and was very particular with her work.. a quality you want your photographer to have!! My wedding day was a long day.. going to three different locations.. and at each location, both Emily(s) were ready to go! They were friendly and very personable! Even more of a surprise, we got our wedding photos back early! I was very happy with this as I wanted to gift our moms the pictures for Mother’s Day and I had ample time to get the wedding photos printed and ready to go for Mother’s Day! They really captured a lot of awesome photos through out the whole day.. love seeing the pictures of the things I didn’t really take in that day and also the photos of the groomsmen and other photos that I was not physically there for. Overall would 10/10 recommend.. you would be foolish to not chose Rooted Image 🤍

Emily is freaking rockstar! She impressed us from our very first phone call with her enthusiasm, professionalism, and positive attitude, and was the ultimate teammate throughout our entire wedding planning process. She took our engagement photos (in addition to photographing our wedding day) and always made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and was always above and beyond responsive with any general planning questions as well. On top of all of this, her photos are BEAUTIFUL. They’re crystal clear, highlight natural colors, and capture “us” as a couple.
