We bought our wedding bands from Rogers and Hollands inside Stratford Square Mall in Bloomingdale, IL. The prices for the wedding bands that we wanted were great, and their payment option was very flexible. They also guarantee damages and cleaning of the rings as long as you bring them in every 6 months to have them examined. The wedding band that I had picked out for myself was one where my engagement ring would need to be sottered to it so that the engagement ring would be surrounded by the diamonds of the wedding band. We were told when we purchased the ring that the engagement ring would be centered in between the side diamonds and would sit up higher than the wedding band itself. Well when I went to pick up my ring the engagement ring which acted as the center of the ring, it was not centered and sat evenly with the wedding band which I was told it would not do. When I told the sales associate this she looked at it and said it was centered and that it was just my eyes playing tricks on me and that it looked fine to her. I insisted that it was not centered, and also explained that it was not supposed to sit evenly with the rest of the ring but sit higher than the side diamonds. She then said well you should just deal with it for the wedding and bring it back when you get back from your honeymoon. I left the store, went home and showed my soon to be husband and we immediatly got back into the car and drove back to the store. We asked for the acting manager that evening and she took one look and the ring and said oh yeah this is not right at all, it defenitly looks off center and should sit up higher. The manager then said that she would have her jeweler fix it right away and appoligized prefously. All in all the experience was good - minus the conflict with the ring at first.
