For 9 months, we were in touch almost every week — and there were a lot of details to cover. Despite the intensity, every interaction was easy, kind, and constructive. As someone (bride) who is very detail-oriented and a bit of a perfectionist, I was initially worried that my search for the perfect choices might come across as difficult or demanding. But with Paraskevi, I did not feel that way. She understood me — my taste, my standards, and my desire to find what felt right for me. For one particular service, I went through six trials — and I genuinely believe my wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without that persistence. So I’m glad I had someone supportive by my side.

Paraskevi also went far beyond what’s in any job description. Her answer to our requests was always, “Of course.” To give a few examples: she helped us look after our dog on the wedding day, arranged for someone from her team to accompany me for two full days of wedding dress shopping, or booked Greek dance lessons for us. These gestures went beyond the wedding planner job description and made us feel truly supported.

When we wanted to work with different providers than the ones she usually recommends, she was open and professional. She contacted them, coordinated everything seamlessly, and made it all work without hesitation. The only times she expressed a different opinion were when she believed something might affect the aesthetics. And in that case, her recommendation ended up being one of the things we loved most about our wedding, and we were so glad we trusted her judgment.

Every time we visited her office, she was warm and welcoming — always offering us coffee and making us feel completely at home. And as a groom, one moment that really stood out to me happened just a few days before the wedding, when I was clearly exhausted from running around finalizing details. Paraskevi handed me an energy drink and a protein bar to keep me going. It might sound small, but it meant a lot — it showed how thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind she is.

We also really appreciated her creative and sophisticated vision. She brought beautiful ideas to the table that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. While we tend to be more practical and detail-focused, she complemented that perfectly with her creative eye and sense of harmony — our brainstorming sessions were fun, inspiring, and productive.

We organized our wedding from abroad while managing busy work schedules, yet we did’t feel like we had to chase for answers or updates. Paraskevi and her team were always available, proactive, and calm — the kind of presence every couple needs during such a big moment.

On the wedding day, everything ran perfectly. Even when a taxi strike was suddenly announced from midnight to 6 a.m., Paraskevi somehow managed to organize transportation for guests who needed it. Our families and friends were equally impressed by how smoothly and professionally everything was handled — several mentioned how calm, coordinated, and well-executed everything felt, which we think is truly commendable.

Wedding planning isn’t easy — especially when doing it from abroad. But Paraskevi made the process positive, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable. It was clear that her goal wasn’t just to plan a beautiful event, but to make the journey itself a good experience — and she absolutely succeeded.

Planning a wedding is always a big undertaking, but planning one in another country especially when you’re not living there adds a whole new level of complexity. We are based in London and had our wedding in Athens. From the start, we knew we needed a planner we could fully trust, and working with the RPS Events team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Greece.

We came in with a clear vision that didn’t necessarily fit the traditional aesthetic often seen in Greek weddings, so it was incredibly important for us to work with a team who not only understood what we were going for but could bring it to life beautifully. The RPS team did exactly that. I am half greek and speak the language but even then, it was so useful having a planner that knew our venue and a lot of vendors. But we also loved that when we found our own vendors - like our florist for example - they were so open to working with her and now continues to do so which is great! A lot of planners will make you only work with their vendors which can sometimes be annoying if none of their aesthetic matches what you’re looking for so this was really great!

I’m someone who wanted to be really involved in the process, I actually run my own corporate events business and also just had an clear vision and the team never once made me feel like that was a problem. They were collaborative, open, and so kind in the way they guided us. I felt supported and heard throughout, and I always appreciated their honesty - especially when it came to where it made sense to invest or save in our budget.

In the lead-up to the big day, they were consistently responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly organised. On the day itself, they were on it, and my partner and I were able to truly relax and enjoy the experience knowing it was all being handled with care.
