About

Rock Bottom Brewery & Restaurant is the ideal venue for your next event! Our recently renovated private dining space is perfectly located between our main floor restaurant and third-floor rooftop terrace at our 1 West Grand Avenue location. All of our private rooms are equipped with operable windows throughout, full bar access, upgraded AV equipment and a private staff dedicated to exceeding your expectations. Our rooftop is also available when the weather permits.

We can accommodate groups of 20-300 people in either a semi-private or fully private setting.

Enjoy our handcrafted beer and made-from-scratch menu - all served by a friendly, fun and experienced staff - all poised to make planning your next event a memorable one! We have a variety of food and beverage packages ranging from $22.00 to $100.00 per person. Our ability to customize menus ensures that you get exactly what you envision. Add our house-brewed, award-winning craft beer experiences and you have the recipe for your event's success!

Located in the heart of the River North neighborhood, we are steps away from some of Chicago’s finest hotels and attractions. The location also offers easy access to public transportation, taxis, and parking garages.

My husband and I always enjoyed the level of service we've received when we've dined at Rock Bottom, so when we got engaged and were discussing where we'd like to have our wedding, Rock Bottom was definitely an option. We were just looking to have a low-key celebration of our marriage, and Katie and her team at Rock Bottom provided us with that. They were more than flexible and accommodating with every request we made. At the last minute we decided we wanted to extend our open bar a little extra longer, and they were able to accommodate us with that. A lot of venues require that you use their stuff and their vendors, but we were able bring our own decorations, and were even able to bring our own cake--we opted out of bringing our own cake, and just used their dessert options, but I thought it was nice that we had the option to bring our own if we wanted. They also let us come in the day before to have a rehearsal and to setup the decorations. They even offered to help us with the decoration setup, which relieved so much stress.

I had emailed back and forth with Katie for several months while we planned the Big Day. She was very quick to address any questions or concerns we had in regards to the wedding. She made some very good suggestions and anticipated our every need. Katie and the staff at Rock Bottom did everything to ensure our guests had a wonderful time. I can't say enough good things about the overall experience I had with planning our wedding at Rock Bottom. I was worried about how stressful planning a wedding would be, but Katie made planning everything so easy and worry-free.

I am so happy my husband and I had our wedding at Rock Bottom. If we ever need to have another event, I'll definitely be hosting it at Rock Bottom!

Rock Bottom Chicago for the win! We had our rehearsal dinner here for about 40 people the night before our wedding and everything was just perfect. The food was amazing, the drinks were great and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere here was so chill and relaxed. The bartenders and servers were awesome. Brent and his crew took care of us all night along with kicking out numerous party crashers. Katie set up everything and made sure it ran smoothly. We've been going to this Rock Bottom for the past 10 years and it is still our favorite hot spot in the city.
