Robert Paetz Photography is a wedding photographer based in Orange County, Los Angeles, and Seattle, available worldwide for wedding coverage. He has traveled to over 60 countries to photograph events, worked on travel photography assignments, and created imagery for NGOs and humanitarian organizations. He has a passion for the planet and diverse cultures and spends about three months on the road each year working and experiencing what this earth has to offer. Services Offered
Since no two weddings are the same, Robert Paetz Photography will happily chat with you and build a coverage package to best fit your needs. An additional photographer can be present to ensure no magical moment goes un-preserved. Couples can expect to receive between 600 and 700 high-resolution images, tastefully edited and ready to print.

I've spent maybe a total of 12 hours in person with Robert, and I feel like he's been a friend in our lives forever. I can't say enough good things about his energy, humor, ability to make you feel at ease, organization and professionalism. All on top of his great work that you can clearly see in past reviews or his social media accounts. He's truly mastered his craft and I never had any doubt in my mind about what he was going to capture for us to remember forever.
As a personal anedocte, we were doing our engagement session and my now husband forgot his nice shoes. Before we could even formulate a plan, Robert was taking off his shoes and asking us what Mykel's shoe size was. And I think it would have been Robert's whole outfit if we needed it. He goes above and beyond and I can't recommend him enough. We will be hiring him again for future events or family shoots!

Great experience with Robert
Robert was great, he was friendly and made us feel comfortable when being in front of the camera isn't really our thing. And most importantly our pictures turned out lovely!! He also delivered them ridiculously fast!

Wedding Photos
Robert was excellent ! I couldn't have hired a better photographer he knew exactly how to take my photos for my wedding they came out so sharp crisp and clean shots. I will definitely hire Robert again for my future photos. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs to take pictures on their special day.

Incredible!
Robert is incredible, his work is incredible, and I could don't be more grateful to have him with me for two days during our wedding celebrations. I took a risk, in my mind, hiring Robert. I hadn't really seen a lot of his work with South-Asian weddings and wasn't sure if someone who hadn't worked with those types of weddings would be able to capture the little moments of our two days. I was WRONG. Robert was amazing from the moment he stepped foot into our doors and started working. He was wonderful to be around, and you can tell from his work that he truly loves what he does. If you are even thinking about hiring him, go, run! You will be so happy you did!

Robert is a real gem.
Robert is a consummate professional. Easy to work with, attentive, thoughtful - he made the day easy. The photographs are beautiful; lots of interesting angles, approaches, colors. We got everything we wanted. Totally recommend booking the second photographer; worth it to get those off-the-cuff and difficult angle shots.

Fantastic pictures, great to work with!
My husband and I got married a year ago, and Robert was the first vendor we booked. He came so prepared to our meeting with sample albums and his thoughts on what we should do the day of, taking into account our ideas for pictures and when the sun would set on the day our wedding. We were blown away by that level of thoughtfulness and he is such a personable guy, we came out of that meeting knowing he was our photographer; we hired him soon thereafter.
Our wedding day was so much fun because of him; he listened to all the ideas we had, and we were so happy to follow his lead. He has a fantastic eye for unique angles and shots and the pictures you get are so unique and wonderful!
We were so happy with our wedding pictures that we call him every time we need a photo shoot. I trust my pictures to this man blindly and do not hesitate to recommend him (seriously, he could tell me to stand next to a trash can, id do it no questions asked).
Some of my friends have also hired him and loved him as well. I can not recommend him enough!

The very best
We found Robert on Wedding Wire and didn’t know a thing about him, but really connected to his photos. He blew us away and surpassed my highest expectations. He was a calming energy on our wedding day. He took photos outside on a busy city street with trees in the background that make it look like we’re in a far away park. We are a lesbian couple and I was so hesitant hiring a male photographer, and he was so wonderful with us. I was so concerned that he would be uncomfortable with us with us showing affection, etc. In an industry that can feel very challenging to navigate as a queer couple, we hit the jackpot.
All of the prompts he gave were easy and our photos are absolutely stunning. I can’t recommend him highly enough. So thrilled to have worked with him.

We met him at our friend's wedding, then he did our engagement, rehearsal dinner and wedding photography. He is very professional, organized and responsive. Personal, Professional, and AMAZING
Robert made the wedding amazing. If I had to dictate what were the two best parts of the wedding (other than getting married, obviously), it would be my amazing photographer and my florist (who Robert worked with flawlessly).
When it came to crunch time, I was running behind and was having a horrible time attempting to get my bow tie done correctly. Robert, being the amazing human he is, decided he would stop things right then and there and help me. But, he didn't just help me; he pulled the best man/dad card out and put me together while I was stressing out.
I can say, without a doubt in my mind, Robert is a unique photographer. Not only does he do amazing work, but he also ensures that his vibe is precisely on point with your own and that your day is fantastic. Even when there is a rush, Robert knows how to make things seem like they are going exactly as intended.
I will HIGHLY recommend that if you have the opportunity to have Robert as your photographer - Take it.
