The photos Rob Garland took at our daughter's wedding were just astonishing. My now-husband took the lead on choosing our wedding photographer. Being an amateur photographer himself, I knew he’d have a clear vision on what to look for. Our wedding day was not easy for Rob and his assistant, Craig. July 1 was a really hot, steamy day, it poured 20 minutes before the ceremony began and we had to mad dash to the main building. Rob was completely agile with all the changes and explained everything along the way. True professional!

There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo Rob captures. We originally reached out to him to photograph our intimate wedding at The Omni Homestead Resort. As soon as we saw his portfolio, we knew we had to see if he was available for our day. After chatting with him and emailing back and forth we quickly realized he was not only an amazing photographer but such a sweet, friendly, and wonderful person! Not only did Rob go above and beyond on our day (he really is the nicest and kindest man you’ll ever meet!) he delivered our entire wedding portfolio two days after the wedding. Looking back at all the special and sweet moments he captured made us feel like we were reliving the best day of our lives! We have had so many friends and family tell us we have some of the best wedding photos they’ve seen. We will treasure all his photos forever and have wonderful memories captured. I simply cannot recommend Rob enough!!

I truly cannot fully express how amazing Rob was to work with. We originally reached out to Rob because we loved the authenticity and emotion captured in his photographs, but after chatting with him on the phone for the original consultation, we realized he is truly a fantastic human! He photographed both our engagement shoot in downtown Charlottesville and our wedding at Barn at Edgewood.
