River & Roots Ranch is a 246-acre working ranch and wedding venue nestled along 1.2 miles of the St. Marys River in Bryceville, North Florida. We are a family-owned property, and when we say that, we mean it. This land is where we live, where we farm, and where we are building something we hope will outlast us.

The centerpiece of the property is a custom cypress log home built in 2008: 4,114 square feet of interior living space with soaring cathedral ceilings, two stone fireplaces, heart pine floors throughout, and 3,913 square feet of covered wrap-around porches that look out over sweeping pastures and old-growth forest. It is the kind of place that feels immediately familiar, like somewhere you have always wanted to be.

When you book River & Roots Ranch, you have the entire property to yourselves, all 246 acres, the lodge, the grounds, the river, and the silence that comes with being truly away from it all. Your ceremony can take place on the natural ceremony lawn backed by ancient trees. Your reception can spill across the porches, the pastures, or down to the river. There is no cookie-cutter layout here. The land shapes the day.
