Rachel was the perfect photographer for my wedding. She was so prompt and responsive whenever I had a question (as an out of state bride, there were many!), obliged all requests, and was wonderful at directing our poses. Bridal party and guests had nothing but kind words to say as well. My jaw dropped when I saw the two sneak peak photos she sent on THE NIGHT of our wedding. She delivered our sneak peak gallery nearly a week early and our entire gallery over two weeks early. I love the style of her photography. She really captured the balance we wanted of traditional portraits and candids. Incredible!

I was able to book Rachel 10 days before my wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, but I’m so glad I found her ! She is such a sweet person, very professional and down to earth. and her work is amazing. Can’t wait to work with her in the future ! 10 out of 10 recommend !

I got engaged December 2018, and we set our wedding date for August 2019. With less than a year to plan, the search was on flowers, catering, venue….and of course, a photographer. I had no idea where to start. While on Facebook I stumbled across an ad for Risen Vintage Photography. They were offering a photography special and although it would not work for that far down the road, I did need engagement photos. I responded to the ad, and there began my correspondence with Rachel. I set the appointment but had no idea where I wanted to take my pictures. She made suggestions that were all so beautiful. The one I truly desired ended up being a “wash” as it was flooded the week of picture day. Rachel suggested an alternate site, and when I say it was beautiful and we had so much fun!!! Her passion was completely evident.
Fast forward, it was a no brainer that come wedding day I wanted only Rachel to be my photographer. When I say she did amazing, that is an understatement. Let’s start with the fact that when I arrived at the church (late, lol) she was in full swing!! She and her assistant, Adam had it all under control. They were both so warm and friendly. They were so focused on capturing every single moment, and detail!! It was like this wasn’t even a job to them. They so naturally captured the pictures I asked for. Now, let me say I can be a bit much when I am hot and aggravated, and it was HOT as the dickens that day!!! If either of them were bothered by my aggravation and snappiness, I AM TOTALLY UNAWARE!! 😊 Their disposition was completely the same from start to finish. It was like for that day they were a part of my family, as they seemed just as happy and excited as my fiancé and I. They took so many pictures, I couldn’t wait to see them. Once I received my pictures I was totally floored. The moments they captured were priceless!! They were capturing moments I didn’t even realize were being captured. Everything was so elegantly done, and my pictures were perfect!!I love Risen Vintage Photography. From start to finish, the professionalism, the passion and the ability to make you comfortable and warm while taking pictures. I will never use another photographer.

Rachel was amazing! She was awesome to work with and captured our big day beautifully. Before the wedding you plan and plan and plan on everything you think you want done, but then the day comes and in the chaos you realize the only important thing is the person you meet at the end of the aisle. I had made so many decisions leading up to the actual day that I just didn’t want to make anymore the day of.. Rachel just took the lead on all things photos, which was exactly what I needed.
