Rick was amazing. Professional but still fun.

We had the pleasure of working with Rick Ouellette as the photographer for our wedding. He is incredibly professional, organized and took and produced amazing photos to document our special day. He went above and beyond every step of the way to ensure that he exceeded all of our expectations. We also had the pleasure of working with him again to complete family photographs following our wedding. Rick is such an amazing man who has such compassion for his work. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding, family photo shoot or event.

We got married on June 28, 2013, and Rick was our photographer. We had an unusual schedule, in that we had a small, intimate wedding on a Friday afternoon, and a big reception the next day. Rick was extremely flexible with his time - and was totally agreeable to be at the different locales on different days. He was also very generous with his time pre-wedding, when we were deciding how the ceremony would play out. He had lots of good suggestions and advice. And even though it was over 100 degrees on both the wedding and the reception day, he spent lots of time getting the perfect wedding party pictures, the perfect family pictures, the perfect light-hearted pictures - everything. He truly cared about how things turned out, and he wanted us to be 100% happy with his work. Which we were!! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer; he is truly a generous and caring person. We would highly recommend him for any event you may have.

My wife and I used Rick to photograph our wedding on 2-8-14 in Lincoln City Or. The weather was bad that weekend and many of our guest did not make it. He flew up in the snow storm and arrived on time. He captured good photos of our big day. He had a good plan for taking the pictures of the family. He took the pictures quickly so our guest did not have to wait to long. He was very accommodating with our ideas for pictures we wanted. We wanted to have our picture taken together while praying before the wedding. He came and got me and walked me into the room with my eyes closed. We also wanted pictures of the beach behind us. We got some awesome pictures ofus with the snow on the beach. He followed us around to all the tables as we greeted our guest durring the reception. We did not get an opportunity the meet Rick before our wedding but we were able to plan everything over the phone. We were always able to get ahold of him in a timely manner when we had questions about thing. On top of photographing he also gave us pointers on how to cut the cake. We got some great pictures and will cherish them always.

My wife and I met Rick at a bridal show. We were interested in photographers at stopped at his booth. We instantly clicked and my wife to be and I knew he was the one. After discussing financial goals and location that we wanted Rick agreed at now the fun started.

We did our engagement photos at Cornerstone, Rick did a fantastic job. He found the places with the best shadows and lighting. Our photos were perfect.

The wedding; a very hard place to shoot. Forbes Island in San Francisco, this place is small poor lighting and windy. Rick took extra time and more photos than we would of every expected. He gave us the disc of photos (no water mark) which let us choose our favorites for our book.

My opinion: use Rick, is fair with price, works very hard to please the client, and becomes a friend. I am happy to say he will be around our family.

Rick was amazing! Being a military couple we had to find a photographer that would work with being able to move the date up or back. Sure enough we had to move the wedding up 5 months. He was so sweet while capturing the beauty of that February day, and even came back that evening to capture us in the mustard fields with the sunset! He is very supportive of the military, works well with schedules and works for the client!!

Rick photographed our wedding 9-28-14 in Glen Ellen, Ca and he did a fabulous job. I met Rick at a bridal show in Santa Rosa and instantly liked him. My fiancé at the time and I went and met with Rick at a local coffee shop in Sonoma and the connection was there and we knew we found our photographer. He is very easy to get in contact with, very flexible and his prices are to die for. So many people at our wedding were impressed on his skills, speed and overall impression. He will go over and beyond his call of duty to make sure your day is memorable and beautiful. I reached out to Rick a few months before our wedding because we could not settle on bridesmaid dresses and a color for them. This is not his job to help the "bride" choose wedding attire, be he helped me with no doubt about it. He gave me great colors to choose from and styles as well as reached out to a formal dress shop in Santa Rosa for help. If you want a affordable photographer for your special day, you have the right guy and you will NOT be disappointed.

I chose Rick to photograph my wedding because he had photographed my sister and I for a Hawaiian-themed session and I was amazed by how much fun he made the experience, how he puts you at ease, and the gorgeous photographs he was able to produce. Rick was able to recreate all of this for my husband and I on our big day. He was really easy to stay in contact with during all the time leading up to the wedding, on the big day, and even after the wedding day. I was also impressed with how flexible Rick was in accommodating all my requests, even after my contract had been signed. I think the value of his services is more than fair because he worked incredibly hard on our wedding day. He was the only photographer and somehow he managed to be everywhere throughout the whole day. It seemed like I received shots of every second of the day! Overall, I highly recommend Rick Ouellette Photography.

Rick photographed our wedding in 2013 and I am still looking lovingly at the pictures. From the minute we met him he was kind, helpful, professional and was in consistent contact. He encouraged me to send him all my ideas and any and all samples of what I may want. He was on time and very patient and calm with all the craziness that comes with prepping for the wedding. He made sure to get all the pictures that I wanted (before, during and after the ceremony and during the reception) and then some. He captured moments that were very special, moments one often misses. He was flexible and checked with us before leaving our reception to see if there was anything else we wanted. He got us the pictures quickly and I love that I share the copyright of each and every picture, this makes printing and sharing so much easier.

I sadly would not recommend this photographer. I was not impressed, but still got some good shots.
