We hired the Rick Lieder Band for our wedding in August 2025, and we truly can’t say enough good things about them. Rick and Dayna were an absolute pleasure to work with and know exactly how to put on a killer show. We had seen them perform at a few weddings, and they were my husband’s number one must-have for our big day.

They coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly and knew exactly how to get the party started and keep it going all night. They even helped ensure sound and mics were all set for the ceremony and speeches. The entire band is incredibly talented, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event.

Don’t even think twice, just hire the Rick Lieder Band. They treat you like family and will make sure your big day is everything you want it to be. They are also extremely talented and know just the right songs to play to get everyone out on the dance floor. We wanted a very specific first dance song and Rick, with no hesitation, learned it and played it perfectly. Our guest kept commenting on how much they loved the band. I am already trying to figure the next event we can have them play at. They will always have a special place in our heart because they were a big piece of making our big day exactly what we dreamed of.

The band was AMAZING! A month later... and our guests still can't stop talking about what a great time they had at our wedding because of the band! Their range is phenomenal and their voices are fantastic. They kept the party dancing the whole time! I also loved how they came out into the crowd at times instead of just staying glued to the "stage"- so fun!

Book them, you won't regret it! Would give 10 stars if I could! We LOVE the Rick Lieder Band!! They played at my sister's wedding and were an absolute blast, so we knew we wanted them for ours! They were one of the first vendors we secured to ensure we had them locked in for our date - a fun band was at the top of our list. Dayna and Rick were great to work with leading up to our reception. We had several calls and communications to set our playlist and make sure the vibe was right for our guests. They started playing during our cocktail hour and dinner with softer music and then really turned it up once open dancing began. Dayna emceed the whole night and did a wonderful job with announcements and introductions. The band does such an incredible job of reading the crowd and matching the music to keep the energy high!! A few of our guests were shocked to realize that the band was actually signing "Beyond" by Leon Bridges for our first dance - it sounded so much like the original they assumed it was just being played and not performed! Our planner, photographer and several bartenders (all who work weddings every weekend) also loved Rick Lieder Band and said they hadn't seen such high-energy on the dance floor. We call them our "family band" for a reason, they are the best to work with and really feel like a part of your celebration by the end of the night. Highly recommend!!!

The Rick Lieder Band is now our favorite band of all time! We are so happy that we were able to book them to play at our wedding. We gave the band free rein to play whatever songs matched the vibe of the crowd, and WOW, did they over deliver!! Every song was amazing and our guests were out on the dance floor all night long. They were also very helpful will all music coordination and MC needs from ceremony, cocktail hour to reception. We can't wait to ear them play again live someday and would recommend this band for any and every event, especially a wedding! They absolutely killed it at our wedding and we couldn't be happier. As music people, having a good band for our wedding was CRUCIAL and the Rick Lieder band fulfilled every one of our wedding band dreams. To start, they were incredibly helpful. We had multiple calls with Rick and Dayna to discuss the overall vibe of our wedding, the type of music we were looking for during our reception, and details of our ceremony music. They were always available to answer any questions and help us curate the perfect set list for our wedding, in addition to just being genuinely cool people who were amazing to work with in all capacities. Their song list is extensive and they are able to do every genre expertly. They also went to our venue prior to our wedding day (with our wonderful planner, Beth, from Frond+Feather) to scout out locations for the electrical supply and where to set up.

We had a few special requests, including an acoustic version of "Come to Me" by the Goo Goo Dolls for the ceremony and a slowed acoustic version of "Home" by Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros for our first dance. Rick learned both songs, especially for our wedding, and they were both incredible and exactly what we wanted. They kept the dancefloor packed and each member of their band was so fun, talented, and high energy. We had so many comments from our guests about how amazing the band was. Cannot recommend them enough!

We LOVED the Rick Lieder Band! From start to finish, they exceeded all expectations.

They were incredibly responsive to our inquiries and accommodated our requests. Their flexibility and willingness to tailor their setlist to our preferences really made us feel like our wedding was their top priority. They have an enormous amount of song choices of all genres but were also willing to curate new options to our preferences.

They were an absolute hit with all of our guests--whether that be acoustically for the ceremony or more of the "big band" style for the reception. Their energy was infectious, and they had everyone on their feet from the very first song. They got involved with the crowd from the beginning. They knew exactly how to read the room and keep the party going all night long.

One of the things that impressed us most was their ability to cater to a wide range of musical tastes. They had something for everyone. Our guests were raving about them for weeks after the wedding. They left the night with 75 new groupies!

Beyond their talent, what really stood out was the genuine joy and passion they brought to our celebration. It was clear that they love what they do, and that passion translated into an unforgettable experience for us and all of our guests. They were extremely kind and genuinely excited to be a part of our day.

Rick Lieder Band is awesome! My wife and I hired them for our wedding and everyone loved them. They did an amazing job getting the party going, and they sound amazing. We told them that we loved the saxophone and their sax player went above and beyond! He even wandered off the band platform onto the dance floor while playing- everyone loved it!

Dayna was the emcee for our wedding as well and she did an amazing job.

Dayna and Rick took the time to meet us at the venue a few days ahead of time, since we had never met before in person. They were very kind and so down to Earth. We really enjoyed getting to know them. Before our big day, we set up multiple phone calls so that they knew more about the kind of music we wanted, and the flow of the reception. We didn't have to suggest any songs though, because everything they played was exactly what we wanted.

The Rick Lieder band was incredible. I received so many compliments from our guests that the music really made the night. They honored my wishes with my playlists, choice of music, and how we wanted to execute our ceremony. They worked with my officiant and father to ensure everyone was on the same page. We emphasized that we liked jazz- oriented music and they brought in extra percussion instruments and a gentleman who's voice mimicked Louie Armstrong and the crowd LOVED him!
