Moana delivered an amazing experience for my family, and on incredibly short notice. Her grounding presence is something that you won't find just anywhere. She made the event even more special for us, and we cherish the gift of having her be a part of the beginning of our journey as a united family.

Moana created a one of a kind ceremony!! She went out of her way to incorporate Hindu traditions, even wore a sari for the wedding. Moana is a wonderful human being, and we appreciate her very much.

Moana was so very flexible and accommodating! I'm grateful she invited us to her home for an outside ceremony that was exactly what my husband and I envisioned. She also arranged for a photographer to be there to capture our moment. Totally recommend!! Thank you, Moana!

This review is a long time coming as we were married in 2014. Moana was our Officiant for our wedding but was so much more in terms of helping us and guiding us through a tumultuous time. We had several meetings with her and discussed and planned our ceremony. She helped us write our own vows
and was fantastic directing our rehearsal. More than anything it felt like we
had someone on our side who was guiding us and keeping us calm throughout
the whole process. We loved her and would highly recommend her.

Moana officiated our wedding in 2008, almost ten years ago. We planned it pretty quickly, over the course of three months which put a lot of stress on us in terms of logistics of where, how, who, etc. Meetings with Moana helped us focus on the most important part of the wedding--the vows we were making to each other and the ceremony that represented our coming together in this way. Both my husband and I were more comfortable with the surface details of making a party and were shying away from the more intimate work of making a ceremony and talking through what marriage would actually mean for us. Moana has a natural intuition for understanding people and relationships, and through conversations with her, we created a non-religious ceremony that was perfectly custom in ways that we cared about (with readings from Rumi and The Little Prince) while she wrote the officiant parts with feedback from us and provided a structure that formed it all into a ceremony that flowed well. What resulted was a ceremony that allowed us to authentically represent ourselves, our relationship, and the role we saw for our friends and families in our new married lives. Moana has experience as a guide in a number of other life event situations as well, so we've chatted after a difficult birth experience, and upon the death of friends and family members, which highlights the value of bringing a spirit guide into your life. In my case, she has provided non-dogmatic support in processing these types of life events.

One of the best things about Moana is that she makes sure everything is perfect for you. There's no cookie cutter sermon she uses that may not quite fit you and what you want. She really perfects it with you so that it's everything you want, and nothing you dont. She will not ramble on about things that dont matter to you, or draw out the length to make it feel like you're getting your monies worth. 5 stars all around.

My wife Agi and I have known Moana casually for years as part of our circle of college friends, but we weren't close until the sudden loss of a dear friend brought us together in 2007. In the months that followed, Moana was a source of strength for all of us, always giving freely of her love and spirit despite darkness and uncertainty. Though Agi and I are avowed atheists and materialists, Moana's spiritual outlook -- grounded in shared experience and profoundly human emotion and need -- moved us deeply. We were and are grateful for the closeness we found in that time.

Agi and I got married in 2008, and didn't hesitate to ask Moana to come to Boston to perform the ceremony; she generously agreed. The three of us worked on the ceremony together over a few days. We all felt that the Big Day should be a celebration of and for our community, not just one couple -- a rite of passage to bind our circle of friends and family a little more tightly. Moana's energy, presence, and lovely words were essential to that celebration. We couldn't have done it without her. She is an extraordinary woman, and we're blessed to have her as part of our joyful, foolish, far-flung, extended family.

Moana Meadow made our wedding ceremony personal, reflective, and a true celebration of our two traditions. We were married by Moana in an outdoor ceremony in San Francisco in August of 2009. We wanted someone who could help us create a personalized ceremony that melded both our Jewish and Catholic religions. In Moana, we found an officiant who really took the time to get to know us both as individuals and as a couple. She crafted a wedding ceremony that respected our families' traditions (and their expectations) and also reflected our individual personalities and hopes for our life together. Both family and friends commented on the beautiful ceremony and Moana's heartfelt words. In addition, her calming presence helped us to remain focused and thoughtful throughout the planning process and on the big day. We couldn't have found a better officiant! We'd highly recommend Moana to anyone who is looking for an beautiful, interfaith wedding ceremony with a personal touch. - Leah and Adam Burstein
