My now husband and I got married this October, 2019 and Peter was our officiant. He was recommended to us by a friend and he was phenomenal. My husband and I could not have been happier with our wedding officiant Rev. Dr. Peter Preble for our September 14, 2019 wedding. He was kind, courteous, and receptive to answering all of our questions. We worked together with Peter to create the exact type of ceremony we wanted and catered our ceremony to personally fit us and our story. Reverend Peter was our officiant, and he was great!! My husband and I wanted to keep our ceremony entertaining for our guests, and Rev. Peter was willing to recite the wedding scene from The Princess Bride. It was a hit, and all our guests loved it!! Additionally, Rev. Peter was able to tie in my and my husband’s love of beer, and do a beer pouring ceremony. All of this really helped to personalize our ceremony and reflect our personalities. Rev. Peter was very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend him if you need an officiant for your wedding!!

Peter was incredible do have with us on our wedding day. my family comes from a more religious background and my husband's family did not so having Peter be a minister worked really well with both of our families and everyone was happy! he is very easy to get along with and was very flexible with schedules and meeting up. I would absolutely recommend him.

He was fantastic! We couldn’t have been happier. He was so easy to work with. We didn’t want a religious ceremony but we both grew up Catholic so we wanted some spiritual aspects and he did a great job writing our ceremony and incorporating everything we wanted! We highly recommend him!

I am Catholic and my husband is non-religious and we were seeking something that was a nice mixture of spiritual/religious while also respecting my husband's beliefs. We met with Rev. Preble one time in person before booking and knew he was the right fit for us.

In addition to our differing religious backgrounds, we also have a blended family that we wanted to incorporate into the ceremony. Rev. Preble did an incredible job crafting an original, heartfelt and personal ceremony which was a perfect representation of us.

His delivery was sincere with the perfect amount of comic relief (necessary with all the happy tears!)

Peter was great to work with. My now husband and I were struggling to find an officiant for our wedding on 07.12.2019 everyone seemed to have been booked. With no hope in sight I turned to a MA & RI wedding Facebook page to ask for help. A bride whose wedding was almost ruined by a snowstorm told us about her day and tagged Peter. He was quick to respond saying he was available so we set up a meeting with him right away. Our first meeting was at a local coffee shop where we sat and talked for about 2 hours about everything under the sun. He later said email me if you guys would like to book with me I said to him “I am writing the email as we speak.” We booked with him the same day because all three of us hit it off very well. He was quick to give us suggestions when we needed them. He was also very attentive to what we wanted. He asked us what kind of ceremony we wanted, and what we would want him to wear. He listened to everything we had to say with zero judgement. I told him I wanted a “normal wedding” and he told us “there is no such thing as a normal wedding because it is how you want it that makes it normal to you.” He was excellent at making me feel very relaxed. He was also in contact frequently to check in before the wedding. Payments can be made online which was beneficial for us. We had a religious ceremony and it was absolutely perfect! We had about 3 prayers and the prayers were excellently spoken. My father did a reading and Peter was more than happy to give suggestions as to what he could possibly talk about. He ended up reading a verse from the Love Chapter of Corinthians. We are so delighted with Peter and very happy that he reached out to us to tell us he was available. I couldn’t picture my day without him and all of his help. I highly recommend him for any ceremony religious or non religious.

Reverend Peter performed our ceremony for us this past Saturday. He did a great job capturing both my husband and I in the ceremony. He had everyone laughing and had a great flow. Peter drove a distance for us when we were expecting a 22 inch snow storm. He was easy to access throughout planning and was willing to help with whatever he could. I would definitely recommend him!
