I first met Jeremy and Michelle, the husband-and-wife team behind Reuse First, in 2012 at Renegade Craft Fair. Their booth was set up next to mine and we had a great time being booth buddies.

I remembered Jeremy, Michelle, and Reuse First when my husband and I decided to get married. We thought it would be fun to use recycled beer bottles for our centerpieces (you know, in a classy way). We spent a couple of years collecting bottles from our favorite beers and then mailing them to Reuse First to transform into vases and candles.

The vases and candles worked perfectly with our eclectic mix of table decor. Although we had our guests take most of them home, we ended up keeping a couple of them and I enjoy them every time I light a candle or place flowers in a vase because I remember what we were doing when we drank the beer or the wine on the bottle, which is super fun.

I definitely loved working with Reuse First. Jeremy and Michelle were super nice and really accommodating to my order changes (which happened a few times). We managed to ship beer bottles to and from Chicago without breaking anything, so that alone is a win. :)
