About
August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.
Restaurant August has several spaces that can accommodate your private dining needs for both social and corporate events. The Upstairs Private Dining Room can seat 100 people and for a reception style event, can accommodate 120. The Chef's Tasting Room can seat up to twelve people and features a customized Chef's Tasting Menu, starting at 4 courses. Wines can also be paired by our sommelier to your tasting menu for a more upscale and unique experience. Restaurant August is available for buyouts that can accommodate parties as large as 300 people. We can also cater your event offsite at any venue that will permit us to do so. Food and beverage minimums are subject to change based on your event and the time of year. Our menu changes seasonally.

My name is Catherine Hines and I am a Sales and Catering Manager with BRG Hospitality. With our business I have the pride of the brand and constancy of the excellent and ever-changing world of cuisine to keep me motivated in creating catered dining experiences for each guest and group. With studies in Business Management, 10 years in the catering business and 6 years with BRG Hospitality, increasing sales and return guests is a byproduct of loving what you do and putting in the effort and care to everyone you work with.
