Delicious and beautiful! I worked with Cheryl and Venessa, great customer service. I wanted to surprise my husband with pilot wings on his grooms cake (something he wanted but didn’t think it was possible). I ordered a mold off Etsy and had it shipped to their business and it turned out perfect!
After the cake was dropped off, there was an accident while setting up that led to the red velvet layer getting messed up. Without hesitation, they came back to the venue and fixed it before guests arrived. I had no idea this happened until after the wedding and am so thankful for them!

I cannot thank Bittersweet enough for our amazing wedding cake. I also want to thank Vanessa and Cheryl for helping me start to finish! Our guests absolutely raved about our cake. It was not only delicious, but beautiful as well!

We chose a very basic cake - vanilla cake / caramel buttercream filling / white icing - because that's what the bride and groom wanted. Bittersweet staff was great to work with and the beautiful cake was delivered professionally. What amazed me, though, was how many guests came up to us to specifically mention how fresh and delicious the cake was. We definitely got our money's worth in terms of happy guests.

The wedding cake prepared by Bittersweet was absolutely exquisite. The groom’s cake was also terrific! They also delivered lunch for the bridesmaids at the hotel while they were getting their hair and makeup done. And it hit the spot!

Wedding cakes are a tradition and personally I’m not a big cake fan, but Bittersweet Confection changed my perspective on Wedding Cakes. From start to finish, they delivered an absolutely incredible wedding and grooms cake. Our guests were raving at how wonderful the cakes tasted. Bittersweet Confections baked a four tier traditional wedding cake for us. Before choosing Bittersweet, we went to several different bakeries and did cake tastings but none of the cakes were up to par with Bittersweet. We could immediately tell that they were a level above the rest and perfected all aspects of a wedding cake (moisture, cake flavor, icing, design, etc.). Not only did our cake come out looking beautiful but it was THE best tasting cake that we have EVER had. Guests all night were raving about it. We loved eating the leftover cake after the wedding. We can't wait to dig into the top tier for our anniversary.

Bittersweet Confections made the beignets that we served at our wedding, and they were the best beignets we have ever had! Our guests kept bringing them up at the brunch the day after, saying that they ate 3-4 beignets each! They were warm and absolutely delicious. We highly recommend serving beignets at your wedding from Bittersweet – they are easy to work with and, as a Brooklyn, New York-based couple, our out of town guests loved that New Orleans touch.

Cheryl and her team did such an amazing job from beginning to end from the cake tasting to the finished cakes! They created a beautiful gold painted tiered cake for our wedding and an absolutely amazing groom's cake shaped like a cooler with a bottle of Jack, a mahi, and a tuna on top of ice! Just to add some more detailed there was even fluer de lis and our initial on the front! The cakes were not only beautiful but tasted AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and at least taste the banana nut bread with peanut butter frosting! You won't regret it!
We even used them for catering the morning of for breakfast for all of the bridal party!
