My husband Mike and I first met Renee when we were planning our Cleveland-based wedding from NYC, where we currently live. We were already interested in Renee's portfolio as her light and bright style perfectly matched our aesthetic. Mike and I had been together for 10 years at that point, and most of that time was spent living/working in NYC, so we were hopeful that we could find a photographer to do our engagement session in NYC. Renee flew out to New York in October 2021 and met us for a shoot in Central Park, in the same spot where we got engaged in June 2020. Renee immediately put us at ease in front of the camera, even though we were initially nervous. She gave super clear directions and we didn't feel awkward/uncomfortable for a single second in front of the camera. The result was a spectacular gallery of photos where Mike and I looked comfortable, happy, and totally at ease with one another - exactly what we wanted to achieve! Upon seeing those photos, I was BEYOND excited to have Renee booked for our wedding day as well. Her work is truly aspirational, and my husband and I felt that we had never looked better!

Renee was easy to reach in the time between the engagement session and our October 2022 wedding, and constantly offered to help with vendor suggestions, answering questions, or any other support we needed. We really appreciated how kind and accessible Renee was throughout the entire process!

Fast forward to our wedding day in October 2022 at Cleveland Museum of Art. Renee and her second shooter, her husband Brent, met us at our hotel while we were getting ready with our wedding party. From the moment they arrived, I could tell we were going to have a wonderful day together! Renee was so efficient at directing everyone to get the shots she needed, and Brent went above and beyond to be helpful, constantly asking if anyone needed anything, offering to run errands, and just generally bringing a very calming energy into our spaces. We then traveled to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens to take pre-ceremony photos with the wedding party, and that is where Renee and Brent really shone! They expertly directly a loud, rowdy group to achieve some of the most stunning portraits I have ever seen. We then met up with our parents at the museum, where again Renee showed her adeptness with shepherding many confused people to create gorgeous shots. Throughout this whole time, Brent was offering to carry my bouquet, help me walk up and down stairs in my heels, and being an all-around perfect gentleman. During the ceremony and reception, Renee and Brent circulated continuously to capture all the essential moments of our day. Importantly, they always felt present and attentive but NEVER obtrusive or distracting in any way.

Renee delivered our wedding gallery in December 2022, and honestly, I cried when I saw the photos. I could not believe how gorgeous every single photo was!

Renee is artistic, kind, so easy to work with, and will undoubtedly give you the best photography experience you could ever ask for during your engagement photos and wedding day. We feel so lucky to have worked with such an amazing talent, and we could not recommend Renee more!

I feel so grateful to have had Renee capture our wedding weekend. She gracefully guided us through the process months before the wedding and was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the whole process. Booking Studio Elle Photography as our wedding photographer was the best decision regarding the wedding that we made. Renee is incredible. When I found Renee's web site online last February, I knew she was something special and that her success was going to grow exponentially between then and now, and it has! We actually wanted to get married on June 14th of this year, but she already had a wedding that day so that is honestly how we chose our real date - based on Renee's availability. She is a professional. She attends workshops to better her already natural talents and collaborates often with other vendors on photo op projects. Renee is punctual, thorough, thoughtful, creative, an excellent communicator, fun, and understanding. My grandmother suffered a stroke 3 weeks leading up to our wedding day (has made a full recovery, thank goodness) and at the time, I had no idea if my grandma would be able to attend the wedding or if she would be holed up at home or a hospital. Renee was so accommodating with the situation and I know if my grandma was in the hospital the day of the wedding, Renee would've went there with me to take a picture. That is the kind of person she is. Just look at her blog and gallery online, she is clearly an AWESOME photographer. We have good friends getting married in November that just did their engagement shoot with Renee last night. No joke! Book her!

We truly could have not picked a better photographer. She captured all our special moments so perfectly that it is nearly impossible to pick a favorite photograph. Renee was such blessings to work with – professional, timely and talented yet her pictures seem so effortless and natural. From our first meeting with her, we knew that she was everything we were looking for and after the past year, we see her more as a friend than just one of our wedding vendors.
