Many people expect to hear that Renáe Rashael is the name of the main photographer, but that isn't quite the case. My name is actually Monique. Growing up my parents could not decide on a middle name so they opted not to give me one. After getting married, I figured, why not give myself one? I began using Renáe as my middle name over 15 years ago and finally had it legally changed this year.

When I was choosing a name for this company, I didn't want to go with the standard first and last name. But, I wanted to keep it personal, so I ended up going with my middle name as well as the middle name of a very close friend of mine.

However, Renáe Rashael Photography is not just me. There's Kevin Matthew who is the secondary photographer and techno geek, as well as my husband, Ashley, who is my “go-to guy.” Without the two of them I would be kind of lost... ok, not really but they don't need to know that. :)

Together we believe that there is more to taking photos than just clicking a button, which is why we focus on building a lasting relationship with you. There is no better way to take amazing photographs than to know exactly what you are looking for and what you are all about.

Our mission is to “wow” you; making you laugh, and yes, even sometimes make you cry. We want to give you a gift that you are proud to have and something that you will be eager to show off to friends and family for years to come! That's what keeps us motivated and that's what we strive to do each and every time.
