Our food was absolutely delicious. It was fresh tasting and summery, not heavy, and subject to changes to the last minute. We had a number of guests with particular food allergies, and Cora listed all of the ingredients for all of the dishes for guests who cared. She met with us any time we wanted and emailed quickly for any question. We loved all of it.Sent on 08/13/2010

We used this venue for my daughter's wedding reception in July 2010. Rebecca was professional and flexible with any needs that we had. She even arranged for a private "bridal" room for my daughter to change in after the wedding. The staff was more than helpful and flexible. I had no complaints from this venue and our guests loved the beautiful ballroom. It even has little white lights around the windows and beautiful chandeliers that you can dim. We also put wall lighting (burgundy) which went well with the burgundy overlay on the ceiling and the burgundy chairs and brick wall. If you're into catering your own event, they also allow that for a minimal fee. They were great to work with and I will use them again for any future events. Thanks Reed Opera House for all your cooperation and assistance.Sent on 07/28/2010

We had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Reed. Because it is such a beautiful venue on its own, very little decorating was necessary (just table decorating). Rebecca was extremely helpful and had very good ideas and suggestions. She suggested the pedi-cabs, where to put signs showing guests where to go, etc. The Reed and its staff were very easy to work with as far as scheduling rental drop offs, allowing us in before the wedding to look at the space, where to place the tables, and use of the kitchen. I especially enjoyed the fact that we were able to do the food ourselves and use the kitchen for a small extra fee.Sent on 12/08/2015
The Trinity Ballroom in the Historic Reed Opera house is a fantastic venue located at downtown Salem. Upscale elegance and class are the ballrooms defining features. Be sure to visit the Trinity Ballroom and take it in for yourself!
Framed by the fantastic windows, the Trinity Ballroom is a wonderful place for a wedding. The dancefloor is wonderfuly large, too. Plus, from a purely selfish standpoint, the brick walls make a lovely backdrop for my photos of all the cakes I deliver there!
This is a great place for your special event! They are so easy to work with, and truly care about making your day perfect! The Grand Ballroom is an amazing space to work with - its like a blank canvas just waiting for you to paint your perfect picture! Just look at some of the amazing pictures of how other brides have decorated! Just stunning.
