We cannot say enough good things about Ashleigh! To start, the photos she took both for our engagement shoot and wedding are absolutely stunning. We are blown away by the way she was able to capture all the colors and details and happy emotions - looking back at the pictures really makes us feel like we’re reliving the day all over again and we will treasure them forever. Also, we had never had our photos taken professionally before our engagement shoot and Ashleigh was so encouraging and made the shoot feel comfortable and fun! By the second time she took our pictures at our wedding, we felt like pros. Beyond her skill behind the camera, Ashleigh is an incredible person and has been a joy to work with. She is super responsive and was able to answer all our questions, even when we had questions beyond photos, like asking for other vendor recommendations. We will definitely be seeking out Ashleigh for all our photo needs going forward, and you should too!

Ashleigh was wonderful to work with and captured our wedding and rehearsal dinner perfectly, particularly the outdoor shots and views of the mountains. She was flexible with our changing party size due to COVID and some weather that made for some last minute changes at our venue site. We had a great experience and highly recommend Ashleigh!

We loved working with Ashleigh from Red Aspen!! We used her for our engagement photos in Boulder and wedding photos in Vail and could not have been happier with the end result! Her photos were AMAZING and we have had so many friends/family reach out and ask who our photographer was because they were so impressed. When we met her for our engagement photos she made us feel so comfortable (especially since we both felt very awkward at first) and worked with us + our crazy Labrador. She’s a BIG dog fan which is a plus in our book. Ashleigh found the most beautiful spot with fall aspen colors for us to take pictures on our big day and they are seriously stunning. Also another thing you don’t think about before the day – she was so good about directing our bridal party and family to get through pictures as efficiently as possible. I’ve been in other weddings where the photographer doesn’t take direction and it is kind of a mess. Our sneak-peak photos came back just a few days after the wedding, and we even got a fully printed photo book with highlights of the day which is such a nice touch – considering most people only use digital prints nowadays! We couldn’t recommend a better photographer!!

We worked with Ashleigh for our "elaborate elopement" in Boulder, CO and it could not have gone any better! We live in MN, so finding times to communicate could have been tricky, but she made herself extremely available, answering all crazy questions we threw at her and offering her advice. When we finally met in person, it was as she knew our family for years. She was helpful providing directions, managed our dogs with care and professional while making everyone feel comfortable! She has a genuine personality and a true passion for photography. Not only was she amazing on site, but she sent us all of our pictures SPEEDY quick. The pictures were better than we could have imagine! We will definitely be working with her again.

Ashleigh’s care, attention to detail, and overall empathy can be summed up in one wedding day anecdote I will never forget: At some point after hair and makeup, but before getting dressed, I needed a moment of quiet as the hustle bustle of the day was catching up with my nerves. As Ashleigh walked outside to capture some dress shots, she allowed me to walk out with her to grab a moment of fresh air and solitude on an otherwise hectic day. While she had a job to do, her understanding of an anxious bride on her wedding day is the exact reason why she is so good at what she does.

We worked with her for both our engagement session and wedding, day and were candid about how uncomfortable we were with portrait photography. Her response put us as ease immediately. She worked through our awkwardness and captured our happiest, most candid moments in each session. She even laughed at our awful jokes as we tried to make light of being in front of the camera (or at least did an excellent job pretending to! ;)) We cannot recommend Red Aspen Photography enough. It’s difficult to classify her as a vendor, when in reality she is a partner, and an irreplaceable one on our special day. She so clearly loves what she does, and has such an incredibly talented eye.

Ashleigh couldn't be better to work with. From start to finish, she has been wonderful to communicate with, professional and kind. She shot both our engagements and our wedding photos and both experiences were best in class. We had some tricky weather challenges in May with our engagements (Colorado, duh) and she was so flexible with making adjustments as needed, to get the best pictures we could. We brought our dog with us and she not only made us feel comfortable behind the camera, but was so great with helping out with him too, when he wasn't in the shot. As far as the wedding photos go - where do I begin? Her and her assistant were amazing. They are so detail oriented and accommodating - I truly feel like each and every shot that could be captured, was, and each and every shot is absolutely perfect. We could not recommend her more. Working with Ashleigh is truly a joy and we look forward to working with her for family photos for years to come!

My husband and I first came across her work on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her artistic ability to capture authentic emotion against a gorgeous Colorado backdrop. After meeting her in person and being instantly charmed by her professionalism, warmth, and good sense of humor - we were sold! On our wedding day, Ashleigh and her assistant were AMAZING. Astoundingly well-organized and tuned-in to every element including the weather, last minute changes in our schedule of events, who needed to be where, and even getting our pup to smile! We met Ashleigh at a wedding showcase in Boulder and were instantly drawn to her photographs and her personality. Ashleigh took our engagement photos on the Bobo Link Trail - she helped us decide on this spot because having water, ducks and mountain views were all important to us. Ashleigh actually got IN the stream with my (now) husband and I so we could get the wet and wild photos we wanted! Before our engagement shoot Ashleigh even helped me choose a makeup artist (something I'd never done before). She ALWAYS went above and beyond to help me with any wedding related questions.
