Rebecca is an absolute pro. She understands the wants and needs of her clients, and works diligently to bring their visions to life. Her knowledge of the industry is a true asset; she anticipates needs before they arise, proposes thoughtful tips and ideas, and problem-solves effectively and efficiently. She is warm and easy to work with, but remained professional, direct, and organized throughout the process. Her clear communication style made sure that all of our vendors were organized, timely, and perfectly in sync. And her full team was on-hand during our wedding weekend to make sure everything ran smoothly, and to troubleshoot any unexpected hiccups along the way—which took away any stress we might have had.

And, when the weather forecast for the day of the wedding called for a drop in temperature and breezy conditions for the waterfront ceremony and cocktail hour, you arranged for blankets on the chairs for our guests during the ceremony and moved the cocktail hour to the more protected garden area. It was the perfect call – our guests felt comfortable, and it set the tone for a warmer and relaxed experience.
We’re especially grateful for your guidance with the dinner service selections (from chairs, china and centerpieces to the food), thank you for coordinating all these pieces with our venue (Inn at Perry Cabin) to ensure everything fit together seamlessly. It was clear you knew exactly how to make our intimate celebration of 24 guests feel both meaningful and elegant.

I cannot recommend Rebecca and her team enough. We used her for day of / month of planning support. We had a somewhat atypical wedding vision (cocktail style reception) and Rebecca was extremely flexible and supportive of executing our vision. She definitely went above and beyond for us, both in her day of coordination with the particularly difficult venue staff as well as spending plenty of time with us leading up to the event (joining calls with other vendors, having extensive / detailed conversations with us, etc.). The whole time she was professional, dedicated to making sure everything went smoothly and a genuine delight to be around. She navigated poor weather, a difficult venue, some difficult guests and everything in between flawlessly. Don't think twice about hiring her!

Rebecca was the most professional planner I could ever imagine. We could tell early on in the planning process that she was very detail oriented, so we hired her for our Friday-night welcome party as well. Rebecca Thomas is the very best on the Eastern Shore! We had a wonderful waterfront wedding in Oxford, Maryland in September 2023, right in the middle of hurricane season. Tropical Storm Ophelia happened to join us for the party at our waterfront reception! Working with Rebecca was imperative to having a successful celebration. Rebecca, an Eastern Shore resident, knew the tides, wind patterns, and overall roadblocks typical to the area (storm or not) and so gracefully guided the party all day! Her team was extremely attentive, quick-pivoting, and organized so that no one had to lift a finger. After looking at several wedding planners in the area, we chose to work with Rebecca Thomas for our wedding in St. Michaels, MD. Simply put, she is amazing, and we have no regrets about our decision. Rebecca is attentive to detail, very organized, conscientious of budget considerations, and easy and fun to work with; we felt like we gained a friend through the process of working with her! Rebecca put us at ease from the very beginning. She also has an impressive network of local vendors and contacts, from florists to photographers to caterers to venues. She pulled together and deftly managed an awesome group of vendors that worked together perfectly for our big day. Likewise, she genuinely understands and appreciates the Eastern Shore as a resident of the area, and you can tell she loves the special features of the region. Most importantly, she really listened to us and understood our wedding vision from the beginning, and ultimately helped bring to life a beautiful and fun wedding-weekend experience that felt so authentic to us as couple--and was even better than we could have imagined. We would highly recommend Rebecca to any couple getting married on the Eastern Shore, she is simply the best!

I can't say enough good things about working with Rebecca and her team. We hired her for full-service wedding planning and she made a very stressful and complicated process seamless and worry-free. On top of being a delight to talk to and work with, she made the vision come to life and our entire wedding was perfect. She is so on top of everything and very reliable, I am sad that our working relationship has come to an end. 11/10 would recommend Rebecca Thomas, she is worth every penny and then some.

RTE is a fantastic wedding planning service, and we would recommend Rebecca to anyone. My husband and I live in Denver and hired Rebecca to help us plan our wedding celebration on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We didn't have a traditional wedding -- instead we had a courthouse ceremony with family followed a few days later by a large party on my parents' property. Rebecca was a dream to work with from day 1. She understood our laid back vision for a slightly upscale picnic outside on the water. From the flowers, to the tent, to the food, everything went off without a hitch. She thought of all of the details that we would have missed, was incredibly responsive to every text and email and worked so well with all of our vendors (all of whom she recommended and has great relationships with). There is no way we could have pulled of this event without her and the entire day was stress free because of her and her team.

We could not imagine planning our wedding without Rebecca on our side all along the way. As nature-loving and generally easy-going people, we loved the idea of an intimate, charming, outdoor, wedding in my parent's backyard waterfront, thinking this would be easy. We quickly learned we were in way over our heads - Rebecca was there every step of the way helping us build up our wedding from scratch in a back yard. Without her planning our wedding would have a been a full-time job that we just couldn't fit in.

She is a creative, fun-loving human, but also incredibly organized and effective, all of which we found essential in her as a wedding planner. In one of the busiest years of our lives professionally and personally, Rebecca made the wedding planning process easy and helped us find a balance in the planning timeline that worked for us and took the stress of planning off our shoulders. To be clear, she did not just check things off a list to get things done; she went out of her way on every detail of the weekend to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and getting the best.

Our wedding day was completely stress-free and we could focus on the truly important things knowing that we could put our complete trust in Rebecca and her team to facilitate the entire day - not only for us, but for our families (and guests) as well. Rebecca handled every hurdle the day-of with grace and in such a way no one would ever know there was an issue in the first place. The RTE team all went above and beyond and we recommend Rebecca without reservation.

First off, Rebecca is everything you hope to have in a wedding planner- she is organized, responsive, understanding, creative, knowledgeable, kind, connected to local vendors, professional and hard working. My husband and I started planning our wedding in June 2019 for October 2020 and when COVID hit we were in a bit of denial but eventually made the difficult decision to postpone to August 2021 a month or so beforehand. Rebecca quickly contacted our vendors and secured our new date with our original contract terms. Rebecca understood we wanted a day dedicated to celebrating Doug & I, and our somewhat unconventional style for a wedding at the Inn at Perry Cabin. She found the perfect vendors, including a local artist to create our 20 geometric centerpieces and the particular type of pampas grass we wanted, just to name a few of the ridiculous things we wanted. We had several last minute cancellations and other friend/family drama which Rebecca and her team handled with grace and discretion so no one else was the wiser leaving us to enjoy our day. Rebecca and her team truly go above and beyond. Rebecca is enthusiastic and a stabilizing force in what can be a very stressful process. She created the most beautiful and epic weekend of our lives. Yes we hired her to plan our rehearsal dinner as well. :)
