Rebecca is hands down one of the most talented photographers I’ve EVER met!! She is extremely creative and is always is down to try something new and stretch herself. She just has an eye that you can’t teach.. I’ve done multiple boudoir sessions with her and they are some of my favorite pictures of me that I’ve EVER had taken of myself. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you book her because I know you will not regret it. She’s not only a talented photographer but also such an amazing person. She makes you so comfortable during your shoot and you leave feeling empowered. 10/10 would recommend and will be booking again.

Rebecca has become such an important part of our story! I have worked with Rebecca three times now (including our surprise engagement) and each time she has somehow been able to put us more in awe of her abilities! Having a COVID wedding, we had to sacrifice so much of our original plan but everything came together exactly how we would've wanted, including Rebecca. When I first saw our wedding day photos, I told my husband that it was as if she knew exactly what we wanted without us even having to tell her. She is so SKILLED at being able to read her clients. Just look at her previous work -- no single person is captured the same but they are all captured beautifully.

Not only was the final outcome perfect, but Rebecca as a person is amazing. When you work with her she is so accommodating. No matter who you are, she cares about you as a person and it is so evident in how she treats you and how she photographs you. There is so much love in our photos, thanks to Rebecca!

Rebecca is one of those rare individuals that really gets to who you are as a person or a couple in just one photo. She has been an absolute joy to work with from our engagement photos to the wedding, and I am over the moon that she will do my bridal portraits as well. If what you want out of your wedding photos is those moments that are candid and natural and so special, Rebecca is the one you NEED. Looking at our photos, I can relive our day, exactly as it was. She was so helpful and flexible for our covid wedding. And on top of that, I'm so happy to just know her, she is absolutely amazing.

We made the last minute decision to change our big wedding to a small-front yard and socially distant elopement 2 weeks before our desired date. Even though we had booked Rebecca for a date 4 months later, she was totally game to shoot our wedding, even with many COVID-related challenges and a super short timeline. She worked with us in the week before to help us develop a timeline and vision as we were scrambling to put things together. Her photos turned out beautifully! There were so many moments that we didn't explicitly remember, and she captured them anyway, including our interactions with guests over Zoom! And the little details that made our wedding unique. We got our sneak peek the following day, which was pretty incredible. I cannot recommend her enough.

Rebecca is an amazing artist that we are honored to have booked for our big day! She has a calm but confident presence of professionalism while also being super down to earth. I love her philosophy of wanting to document the real moments in the day rather than trying to force a certain pose or look. It's exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer and I'm so glad we found her.

My fiance and I have had to postpone our wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic and Rebecca was happy to be flexible and continue on as our photographer even though we had to book a date for a year later than our original.

Rebecca was by far one of my favorite vendors for our wedding. We got to meet with her early in the planning process during our engagement photo shoot and my husband (David) and I could tell right away that Rebecca was everything we could hope for in a photographer. We were a little camera shy at first, but Rebecca made the process really comfortable and a lot of fun, even when it was raining outside (another perk – she wasn’t afraid of a little rain, even though it was December and a little chilly!). Her go-with-the-flow mentality helped us relax and have a good time.
On our actual wedding day, Rebecca was a rockstar. She was open to our ideas for photograph locations at our venue and was ready at a moment’s notice when I decided last-minute during a song to run outside with my husband and dance on the patio.
Her photography, just like Rebecca as a person, is incredible. Rebecca’s attention to detail and focus on the little moments really helps capture special details that are often overlooked. Additionally, we were SO happy to receive a bunch of preview photographs the day after our wedding and relive the evening so soon. I honestly cannot recommend Rebecca or her photography enough – she is without a doubt one of the best in the business.

Oh man, where to begin with this lady? I started following Rebecca on Instagram before getting engaged, and was pretty quickly smitten with her photography. I work in documentary film, so it was especially important to me to find a photographer who captures natural moments beautifully. Rebecca’s work is organic and intimate; a lot of candid moments – emotional exchanges, hilarious crack-ups, tender gestures, naked expressions.

But besides loving a photographer’s work, it’s also important to have a rapport with this person who is going to be by your side throughout a very important, emotional and potentially stressful day, witness to all the ups and downs that may happen. So when, at one point, Rebecca posted a picture of herself wearing a Syltherin shirt, I was pretty sure we’d be friends (even though I’m a Ravenclaw; HP bonds are legit). Seriously, she is so easy and fun to work with, and I feel like we became friends through the process of planning, and even just following each other and exchanging DMs on Instagram. By the time wedding day came, it was so easy to be ourselves in front of her lens. AND THEN, when we got our photos back – WHEW. I mean, she killed it. Not gonna lie, I teared up a little bit looking at them and remembering the moments of the day. My only complaint is that I’m probably going to spend a fortune printing so many photos and a much larger wedding album than I thought, because I just CANNOT narrow them down. All this to say, Rebecca Burt is a freaking champion and you should just hire her already. You won’t regret it!

I can't recommend Rebecca Burt enough! After an earlier photography plan with a family friend fell through, we were left cold-calling people we found via the #dcweddings hashtag on Instagram, with a minimal budget and not a lot of hope that we'd get the quality we wanted.

Rebecca was warm, funny, and fun to interact with from the get-go. On top of being a pro photographer, she's also just a wonderful human! She felt like a friend right away, moreso than a vendor—though I also think if we'd wanted a buttoned-up professional vibe, she could have provided that as well because she was so adaptable.

Between signing our contract and our wedding day, we communicated about payments and engagement shoots very easily—and even communicated on Instagram just as buds/fans of each other's :)

Like most weddings, ours had its moments of being very rushed/disorganized with last-minute plan changes and surprises. Rebecca was so game to go along with all of them. She even brought on a second-shooter because she felt it was necessary to capturing the special amusement-park venue we'd chosen (and chose a great second shooter, at that). We trusted her direction and vision completely, and the pictures that came from it are gorgeous. They were the exact style we were looking for, very high-quality but also moody, timeless and elegant, compelling, journalistic, she ticked all the boxes :)

If you're on the fence, email her ASAP! She books up quick and is so worth every penny.

OH! And—she got us a sizable "sneak peak" set of pictures to look at, like the day after our wedding. It was so fast! She's an incredibly hard worker, it's very inspiring.

Rebecca is the photographer of my dreams! Not only is the proof in the puddin so to speak (the images!), but her communication style, laid back attitude & flexibility is what made my day really sing. Choosing her as the photographer for our big day was hands down the best decision we made when planning. I will cherish the images she captured for the rest of my life. Highly recommend!
