Raquel McCrickard thats me. I am an east coast bred girl that has settled in California. I will always stay true to the drama and romance the east coast girl in me drools over. However, the California girl I have allowed to reside in me cannot get enough of the west coast landscape. The mixture of these two styles makes for some pretty cool photographs. Whether east or west coast doesn't change the fact that I am a sucker for a love story. Have the tissues ready when you tell me yours.

I am primarily self taught. My mother was a wedding photographer for over 30 years, so I have grown up around photography my entire life. I have been fortunate to be surrounded by art in many forms. Which in turn built my appreciation of the art of photography.

Its amazing being able to freeze a moment in time. Even more amazing is that a single image could one day be treasured by someone who doesn't even exist yet. Imagine, your great great grandchild standing in her hallway, admiring a photo of you. wondering how you felt in that moment in time when that photo was taken. Seeing she has your smile and thinking about what it would have been like to know you. Makes you look at photography differently doesn't it?
