These sprawling, private grounds of RLC offers all the charm and intimacy of a destination wedding, located in your own Southern California backyard.

Rancho Los Cerritos is a 4.7-acre historic site located in Long Beach in the beautiful community of Bixby Knolls. Built in 1844, the adobe home and grounds of Rancho Los Cerritos echo with the rich history of Spanish, Mexican and American California.

The two-story Monterey-style adobe is primarily furnished to reflect occupants and lifestyles from the 1860s-1880s.

The site, a National, State and Long Beach Historic Landmark, also includes historic gardens full of photo opportunities.

Tucked away in the midst of a bustling city, Rancho Los Cerritos' ample backyard, intimate library, and inner courtyard just might be the perfect retreat for your wedding!

For the ceremony, guests wait in the inner courtyard as the gates open to reveal the bride. After the heartfelt ceremony, the party continues in the backyard, where guests can dance and dine through the evening within the intimate, natural setting.

Dream Venue

This place is amazing. Not only is it beautiful, the staff are amazing at coordinating with you and making the day go easy as possible. Rancho recommended to us some great caterers, rentals, and other services to use that made the day even easier/more special. Could not give a higher recommendation.

Beautiful venue

This venue is absolutely gorgeous and feels like an oasis outside of the city. Even in January the venue looked absolutely perfect. Everyone was great to work with to secure the venue and they allow for payments via their website making it super easy. It was the perfect outside venue with separate areas for the ceremony and reception.
