Jodi and her team were wonderful to work with. My husband and I had so much fun at the tasting, and Jodi recommended adjustments to our cake ideas to make it look even more beautiful. The final product blew us away! Rachel's cakes also made cookies for our favor table, which our guests were raving about. We will definitely be going back for all future events!

We loved working with Rachel for our wedding cake and dessert table. The flavors were amazing, and several of our guests told us it was the best cake they ever had. We went with vanilla toffee, strawberry, and Rachel’s signature cake (Guinness/salted caramel). Rachel was also extremely patient and willing to accommodate our budget and requests.

Wow! Great cake. Exactly what I asked for. Comments from guests.... “Oh wow, that was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted”....”I am so full - I had to taste all three flavors, they were so good!”. My personal favorite was the toffee chunk, but the chocolate ganache filling on the decadent chocolate was to die for. Thank you, Rachel, so much for coming through for us!

Picking our cake was the easiest and most enjoyable part of planning our wedding! We'd heard of Rachel's Cakes through a friend (who had the most delicious cake at her wedding), who had herself heard about Rachel's Cakes through a coworker (who had delicious cake at her child's bar mitzvah!). We did two tastings and thought all of the cakes we tried were moist and flavorful. We got really positive reviews from our guests, and can't wait until the 1 year mark when Rachel will make us a small cake to enjoy! (Also, against everyone's advice, we kept the top tier of our cake and ate it at 6 mo. - it was still just a good as the day of our wedding). My brother will be using Rachel's Cakes at his wedding this May. We cannot recommend more highly!

Rachel was a breeze to work with - first when we scheduled a cake tasting (easily the best part about wedding planning!) and she had six delicious types of cakes for us to try. When we contacted her afterwards to ask about changes to one of the flavors, she mocked up three different types (all the same cake with three different types of filling for us to try) and all we had to do was drop by and pick it up. We then booked her for our wedding, and she immediately sent us a handful of mockups to take a look at, and offered to look at pinterest pages, etc to get an idea of cake decorations we would like.

We booked her about 6 months prior to our wedding, and a few weeks ahead of time she sent us a mockup, and we told her we just wanted it to look nice! And she completely delivered!

We had so many compliments on our cake (three flavors - Guinness Chocolate with a Salted Caramel cream cheese filling, a yellow cake with strawberry compote and american buttercream filling, and banana cake with a cream cheese filling, all covered in plain buttercream), and a couple of our friends said that this was the first wedding cake they had where they'd want to order it outside of a wedding.

We got a three tiered cake that would feed about 70 people for $320, which is pretty reasonable based on what we researched at other places. She also delivered and set up the cake at our wedding site. We had about 60 people attend the wedding, so oh shucks we've been eating leftover cake for the past week! Also - instead of you saving the top tier of your cake for a year in the freezer, Rachel will make a small anniversary cake for you at your 1-year anniversary.

Rachel's Cakes was great to work with and they made a beautiful cake that tasted great. I would highly recommend them.

My communications with Arlene leading up to the wedding were great. When my fiance and I wanted to try a few more tasting, she set up a second mini tasting for us. The sketch of the cake perfectly captured what I had in my head and the actual cake resembled it exactly.

The end result was a beautiful cake. Several friends commented on how great the cake was and I even had one friend who was married recently tell me how much better my cake was than her cake.

Rachel was easy to work with, professional, and overall my experience with her services were excellent. From the cake tasting to the cake delivery Rachel worked around my very busy schedule, she tailored a cake that not only matched the design I wanted but also fit into my budget, and she made us a replica cake for our anniversary which she delivered directly to me.

If you are looking for someone easy to work with, who takes the time really listen to what you want, and will work with your availability, Rachel is your girl.

Rachel's Cakes was WONDERFUL. Our wedding cake was beyond beautiful and Arlene captured our personalities and over all wedding theme beautifully in the design. I would have to say the cake was one of our favorite things about our wedding. Our guests raved about the delicious flavors too! I highly recommend Rachel's Cakes for any event :)
