Quail Hollow was a beautiful and very accommodating for my special day!! They were professional and reasonable!

I can not say enough good things about Quail Hollow!!!! EVERYTHING was wonderful!!! Everyone that worked with us wanted to do the best that they could to make sure the wedding day was perfect! This venue had everything we needed from overnight rooms, fantastic food, remarkable service and a friendly atmosphere! They work with you to keep things within your budget. There is not one complaint that I would have with this venue. On the night of the wedding we received many compliments on how wonderful the staff and service was to everyone!!! Quail hollow is a little-known gem tucked away behind a busy road and some less-than impressive houses. But once you get there, you see that the renovations they did and their golf course is absolutely stunning. They were able to accommodate a date change with no fee, work with us on our menu, and let us do whatever we needed to do to set up our big day exactly as we wanted it. The food was delicious, the drinks awesome, and service top-notch. They really helped me get a lot of last minute things done on our wedding day. I rate responsiveness a 3 because sometimes it took more than a few days to hear back via email, and messages left when called sometimes didn't seem to reach the event coordinator. When we first looked at this venue and decided to book it, we had to go through 2 or 3 different event coordinators (all without a notice given to me they they were fired or left) until Carly became the hopefully permanent fixture, so that's also why I docked points for responsiveness and professionalism. Other than that, definitely check this place out! We almost didn't even visit here when deciding, but we are sure glad we did.

We used Quail Hollow as the one of the hotels we blocked rooms off in as well as where we had our Rehearsal Dinner. The rehearsal dinner was great! I cannot complain about anything there. I believe the woman who helped arrange the rehearsal dinner was Julie. She was amazing.

HOWEVER, when blocking rooms off for our wedding guests we ran in to huge problems. My Mother-in-law to be wanted to block her family separately from my block of guests and my family. This, we determined, would be easy enough, however Annie kept confusing our two blocks which led to great confusion on our parts. Additionally, when I was initially blocking my rooms, Annie asked how many singles and doubles I would want, and I said a mix of both. This was put in to the system as "house available" which soon ended up being single beds only as the hotel booked the rest of the double rooms. I did not know this would happen, so PLEASE make sure you know EXACTLY how many single and double rooms need to be reserved for your guests. Additionally., a month or so after my initial block of rooms were made, I added five more, which I received an email from Annie confirming, however, when I contacted her concerned that all of the double rooms had been booked, she said all the rooms had been booked, and quoted me at my initial 10 rooms, not 15. I told her I had booked 15, including double rooms- however since the hotel was already booked full, she suggested I contact the nearby Comfort Inn, who could not have been more accommodating, AND who provided free breakfast for my guests.

Also to note, which was more humorous than anything else, the fire alarm went off 3 times at this hotel while my guests were there. Once at 0700 and around 0900 on Saturday, and again on Sunday during breakfast.
