Simply put, Matt is AWESOME! He did an amazing job as our wedding DJ. There was not a single second of the evening that the dance floor was not full. Thanks to him, everyone had such a fun time. He was helpful, flexible, and most importantly, an all around great person. It was truly our pleasure to have had the chance to meet him, and to share our special evening with him. You will not regret choosing this family to be a part of your wedding.

Hands down, best DJ ever. Matt was awesome. From beginning to end, he made the whole process fun! He made himself available whenever we needed him (phone, email, in person chats), and always remained professional and friendly. He provided great advice and suggestions, and did a great job at reading our style.

My husband and I challenged Matt to make our wedding EPIC. He passed, with flying colors. The dance floor was packed from 8:30 pm to 1am. Guests loved the oldies played during cocktail hour, the ornate string covers during the ceremony, and reception dance music. Mad props to Matt, as well, for creating an amazing mashup of songs for my dad and I to peform a routine to.

I will be recommending Matt and XS events to all of my family and friends.

Tim was my officiant and DJ. I was apprehensive about him being both as i was not sure how that would work out. However, he did an amazing job. He had a wonderful assistant who cued the music during my ceremony and she stepped in to help where my florist failed. She arranged my flowers for the whole wedding. Tim was great all around. He listened to what we wanted and offered his knowledge where we were quite honestly lost. Everything was perfect. I gave him very few song selections and let him go with it. His music selections were great. People laughed, danced and a goodtime was had by all. Tim was very upbeat from our rehearsal night(the night before) and thru the wedding. Our venue was in the country and quite the travel. So happy that at last minute i chose Tim to Dj/Officiate. Orignally we were just going to play music from ipod or something. DJ all the way!!

Matt was such a great choice for the wedding! He provided me with a detailed spreadsheet to fill in with times and song choices. He made great choices for the times that I didn't really have a song opinion. It was a small wedding, so the dance floor wasn't very crowded, but he got everyone on the dance floor for several songs during the night. XS Events will be the perfect soundtrack to your wedding!

During the drive from the venue to our hotel following the wedding, my husband and I were reflecting on the day and, specifically, how XS Events' Matt and Shari made it so fun and seamless. The music was great, and our guests loved how Matt came out on the dance floor and taught The Wobble. I'm pretty anti-group dances but am glad that I took Matt's advice to start the dancing portion of the reception with a group dance; he really got everyone out on the dance floor! Also, take it from me, a type-A, take-the-bull-by-the-horns kind of person, control freak: If you're hosting your own wedding like I did, YOU NEED A DAY-OF COORDINATOR. There was no way that I could've kept all of the trains running while taking pictures, visiting with guests, and being present on my wedding day, which went by so quickly. XS Events was great and I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Matthew was awesome and fun to work with. He really made the day smooth. He had the guests laughing during the games, and dancing to great songs. He was able to play all of our requests without any extra charges or issues. Communication was clear and easy. He had a sheet to fill out that really helped me plan out the reception should go.

Our experience pre-wedding with this DJ was good, and while the DJ-ing at the wedding wasn't disastrous by any stretch, it wasn't ideal. We had given him (after a conversation about this pre-contract) a very specific playlist for our cocktail hours and dinner hour, and instead he played some music we never would have chosen (some country, some not-our-favorite-cheesy pop music). Also, none of our guests could hear the toasts because of the position (or perhaps quality?) of the speakers.
