After my first phone call with Shanti, I knew she was perfect for us. I never understood when people said it was important to "interview" your photographer, but now I understand why! She was understanding about any sensitive family dynamics that may affect photos and made us all — including my photophobic husband! — feel so comfortable. She also got us our perfectly curated album full of gorgeous photos within about 3 weeks, while my friends who had gotten married a few months before with other photographers were still waiting for their photos. She is great at photographing couples, kids (when my 2-year old nephew was not happy about being in photos, I told her that he loved trucks and that being near a truck might help. She was soon sprinting out to the street with us to get him close to a truck for some of my now favorite post-ceremony photos!), and will follow your cues as to what you are and aren't comfortable with. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I think Shanti could coax a smile from freeze-dried lemons - who can help but smile when faced with that much talent and charisma behind the camera? We were so fortunate to have Shanti capturing our wedding and reception memories at Mavericks Event Center in October 2018. Not only was she a pleasure for us to work with, but she made our guests feel incredibly at ease - so many of them have since commented on our "amazing photographer." It takes a special blend of humor, sensitivity, awareness and energy to be able to interact with a group of strangers in a way that makes them comfortable enough to let their personalities shine through. Bonus: Shanti also got our photos finalized and delivered very quickly and exceeded our highest expectations in every way. She is a magician!

Shanti is the BEST! She is so fun to work with and captures those special moments precisely at the right time. She is very easy going and flexible, at the same time she knows exactly what needs to be captured the day of your wedding and makes that happen flawlessly. She was open to all our ideas and requests and well as scoping places near our venues to make sure we a plan and a perfect place for our photos as well as a plan B (incase of weather). Also, use her timeline you'll be thankful you did!!

I was referred to Shanti by a friend, so my fiancé and I decided to use her for our engagement pictures. Shanti had fast responses to both my emails and phone calls and did a great job of answering all of my questions. She was very flexible as we had to reschedule several times due to being rained out. In the end, we were lucky enough to be able to take our photos on the Half Moon Bay bluffs on a 75 degree day in February! Shanti was able to make us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera (even my fiancé who doesn't like having his picture taken) and gave us great direction for poses to ensure our photos turned out well. The finished photos are AMAZING and we were impressed with how well they turned out! We received the photos back very quickly and had full access to the digital versions so we could print and share them as we chose to. Needless to say, we've already booked Shanti for our upcoming wedding (August 2016) and can't wait to work with her again!

Shanti was the photographer of our dreams for our engagement pictures and our wedding! For our engagement pictures, I sent her a few ideas, but she really brought it to life and we couldn't have loved them more! She is SO on top of everything and made us feel SO comfortable throughout the 2 hour session. For our wedding, at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, we couldn't have asked for a more professional, AMAZING photographer! Shanti and her team were top notch and I can't say enough about her! They came to where we were getting ready, were SO on point with the timeline and all the little details and followed my now husband and I around like a hawk! We had talked about various group pictures and different locations at the vineyards and she made sure that EVERYTHING was captured!

I cannot recommend Shanti and her team enough! We cannot wait to see all of our wedding day photos and to use her for other photos down the road! You're the BEST Shanti!

She is AMAZING! If you want to guarantee that at least one thing will go smoothly on your wedding, hire Shanti. She is fun, prompt, knows angles and spots, and makes the day enjoyable. She finds the little nuances that she knows a bride wants to remember on her wedding day. And unlike many horror stories I hear about some photographers taking months to get you your results, Shanti is fast. I would give her 10 stars if I could!!!
Now we just have to make it up there for anniversary pictures and baby pictures (we now live in SoCal). I almost do not want to trust life's big moments to anyone else.

I absolutely love Shanti! She does great work! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture my special day. We had her take our engagement photos which were amazing (even though it was not the sunniest day). We used those photos for our save the date, wedding program and seating chart. Our wedding photos were amazing, I could look at them over and over again. She has such a unique style. I enjoyed working with her and cannot wait to have her take our pictures once we decide to have a baby. I would recommend her for any photography needs!
