It has been extremely difficult for us to put such a wonderful experience into words. Our experience began when stumbling upon a band, PopStyle, who we had never heard of before. After reaching out we were pleased to get a quick and genuine response back from Karl. From the first response the group clearly took our questions to heart and responded in a way which we felt comfortable that we had been heard, even after we had been forward about never hearing of them before. After deciding to go with them for the wedding night, we met in person to go over the night. Karl is a true professional and added some suggestion where we needed it and let us steer the ship as we wanted to. Ultimately we were happy and comfortable to put the night in his hands, they did not disappoint. As the wedding came around, it was clear that PopStyle knew how to perform. We received more compliments on the band throughout the night and on the impressive skill on just about every individual musician in the group. Which is something to say as more than a few of our guests have professional backgrounds in music.
What struck us most was not only the raw talent and the ability to completely nail each song, but that the band itself had fun. You would never know they were not just a group of friends getting together to jam out. They danced, smiled, laughed, and even stepped into the crowd once or twice to have an epic horn or vocal solo back and forth.

We will lastly say that one of our biggest complaints leaving weddings (DJ or Band) is when the musicians do not read the room and only play what they want, instead of play for the crowd. PopStyle knew how to direct the feeling of the night. Each song flowed from the last and set them up for the next set. They seemed to hit ever genre with expertise which gave something to everyone in the crowd.

Our only reservations going into this was the lack of other reviews out there, given they are a newer band. We only hope that this speaks volumes to how incredible they are and comforts you in knowing you are hiring the best we have heard. We are hoping to see them live again at many weddings in the future.

PopStyle was an exception wedding band! We hired them for everything for our wedding: guitar solo for the ceremony, jazz trio for the cocktail hour, and 11 piece band for the reception. Every aspect of their performance was outstanding and exceeded our expectations (including the MCing!).

This band is AMAZING!!! Hire right away. They brought so much fun and gave us the best party! amazing energy, talented musicians, and just super fun! They nailed our vibe exactly and were the highlight of the reception. All our friends told us how incredible they were.

Popstyle was the only choice for our wedding. We knew we wanted a band because our venue (Babeville) was a concert hall. In the early emails of planning Natalie was helpful every step of the way. We opted for the jazz trio during cocktail hour and do not regret it one bit. During the wedding countless guests mentioned to me how wonderful the band was. It really was like having my own personal concert. We even had a last minute change to our timeline which Popstyle took in stride. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a live band instead of a DJ. I wish we could have our wedding again just to have them perform!

This band is great. I really hope they stay together because they are so tight as a group. Drummer lays down mellow beats with technical hits to add color and flavor. Beautiful horn section that makes each better. Musical licks and balanced harmony. Vocals crushed it and kept the party going. Wonderful warm and welcoming to the dance floor. This band was so much fun from start to end. As a sax player I always wanted to play with the wedding band. When I approached the band with this request, there was zero hesitation. We went back and forth collectively to figure out a game plan, that catered our strengths. I told them I wanted to have a giant horn battle in the middle of the crowd. Let me tell you that they delivered and more. The guests at our wedding we’re so happy and flat out just having a blast. I couldn’t recommend this band enough 17 stars out 10 !!!!!!

Having PopStyle at our wedding was by far the highlight of our day. I have never been to a wedding with a band until my own, and it was also the only wedding where the dance floor was never empty. We received so many compliments about our choice to have PopStyle perform, and all of our guests had a great time. They provided us with a huge variety of songs to pick from, and they were so helpful with the entire planning process. They took care of all of our ceremony music along with our entrances and the reception. They were always very responsive when we reached out with questions or help with our timeline. The entire band showed up well in advance of the time they were needed in order to set up and warm up before they had to perform. All of the musicians were incredibly kind and super talented. We were on the fence about having a live band but it was definitely the best decision we made, and there really aren't enough words to describe how much fun it was.

We're serious - choosing PopStyle as our wedding band was one of the best decisions we made, and you won't be sorry including this amazing group for your big day too!

A killer dance party was a high priority when planning our wedding, and PopStyle more than delivered. Throughout the night, we heard endlessly, "this band is amazing!" and we were beyond pleased with the packed dance floor late into the night.

Words cannot describe how incredible Popstyle was on our wedding day. The music was extremely important to us, and this band kept all of our guests on the dance floor all night long. They clearly took into consideration our music taste, and every single song they played kept our guests dancing and singing along. Our wedding reception was a blast, and so much of that was because of the music! We will be talking about our wedding band for years to come and know our guests will too. We cannot recommend PopStyle enough! They were incredibly easy to work with leading up to the wedding and required little work to be done on our end. They took care of everything to ensure the music for our ceremony and reception went smoothly. Our biggest hope for our wedding was that everyone would be on the dance floor all night, and PopStyle knocked it out of the park! The dance floor was packed for hours, the music was fantastic, and everyone had so much fun. They truly made the night into the best party! We received so many compliments after the wedding about how great the band was. If you want you guests to have a blast on the dance floor, this is the band to use!
