Rachelle was very easy to work with. The whole process was smooth which was awesome. My husband and I are laid back people and we find Rachelle's workmanship matches our easy going personalities. Thanks Rachelle.

Rachelle was the perfect officiant for our non-traditional ceremony. She was totally up for our idea to hike to our wedding location even when we changed the hike the morning of the ceremony. Her words at the ceremony captured our relationship. I wanted a short ceremony but she manged to pack in so much in! Every word counted and it was so much more that the vows. She's absolutely magical <3

Rachelle, aka Poetita, was a perfect choice! My husband, Miguel, and I were looking for a nontraditional wedding officiant who would renew our vows. We wanted to celebrate our 5-year marriage! After talking with Rachelle about what we wanted and some suggestions from her, we decided to renew our vows in beautiful San Juan Bautista, CA on December 10, 2017.

We wanted our vow renewal to be as intimate and small as our wedding. Our original wedding was underneath the West Hollywood library right after LGBTQ+ were able to get married again in California on July 1, 2013. Then, we couldn’t have family there. However, Rachelle encouraged us to have the ceremony that we wanted. We could invite our loved ones and be in a beautiful location underneath a jacaranda tree, reminding us of our home city, Los Angeles.

Rachelle wrote a custom ceremony written just for us, which was a breeze. We thought it would be harder to help create this ceremony, but she eased our concerns. Somehow, she could piece together mine and my husband's feelings about one another into a stunning ceremony, while still allowing us to say what we wanted to each other. Rachelle was even able to incorporate literature and poetry! Afterwards, she sealed our ceremony on linen paper with a heart wax seal, which we've always wanted done since we were children. We felt important, even more official! Now, we have a forever keepsake for our future family.

During the ceremony, Rachelle was able to help us book a photographer that provided the best photos. That was important to us, since we couldn’t have our wedding photographed well. Thank you to Lisa Robinson at www.lisarobinsonphotographer.com. We truly cherish our photos. (See some below!)

With all this accommodation and attention, we were very happy to pay her $500. It was priceless! In the end, I think our vow renewal was better than our wedding day. Thank you so much, Rachelle! You've helped us make irreplaceable memories!

My husband and I were supposed to get married by a friend. At last notice they cancelled. Thank goodness we found Rachelle to marry us! Things could not have worked out more perfectly!! Hiring Rachelle as our wedding officiant was one of the BEST decisions that we made.
I was so thankful that Rachelle was flexible to our needs. I could not have imagined a more BEAUTIFUL ceremony than what Rachelle wrote. It was extremely well written and expressed our views as a couple perfectly . The family was so impressed by the words Rachelle had written for us and they expressed to us many times how absolutely wonderful the ceremony was.
Besides providing the most outstanding ceremony for us Rachelle was so lovely! She was professional and arrived at the ideal time. I appreciated that Rachelle spent a minute before our ceremony to remind us to enjoy this magnificent moment between my husband and I since it is easily forgotten among wedding chaos. Rachelle was absolutely delightful and an exceptional wedding officiant! Rachelle's brightness and warmth brought such a positive energy to our ceremony hence creating a day beyond our expectations!

My Wife and I could not be more thrilled with Rachelle's work! We came into the process knowing that Rachelle was an amazing writer and poet, so we had high expectations for what she could put together for us. She did not disappoint!

She created a ceremony that captured my Wife and I's journey as a couple, our personality, and style. Our friends and family were struck with how wonderful our wedding ceremony was in content and presentation. The words that Rachelle put together for us blew everyone away.

Having Rachelle as our ceremony writer and officiant was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. What we came away with was an incredible ceremony, and a beautiful piece of writing, unique to us, that we can always cherish.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.

Rachelle is a great choice for an officiant! She is thoughtful and articulate while managing to add both warmth and humor to her ceremonies. I've had the pleasure of working with her on a number of projects and find that she is detail orientated and fun personality! I would highly recommend Rachelle and look forward to working with her again in the future!
