Tia joined the events team in April 2023. She has extensive catering and customer service experience that adds wonderful value to this department. She looks forward to working with future clients!

Originally from Benson, MN, Serena graduated from Concordia College with a double major in Communication and General Studio Art. She started at the front desk at the museum in March 2016. A few months later she joined the Events team, and has been an Events Coordinator for almost 6 years.
She loves seeing clients put their own touch on their wedding day, whether that be with decorations or new traditions. She's passionate about helping clients bring their vision to life.
Her favorite thing about Plains Art Museum is the beauty of the building itself. The historic character of the original brick, wood floors, and large windows offer a versatile backdrop that suits a number of decorating styles.

The Plains Art Museum is the only venue you should consider if you want an indoor, modern wedding. There really aren't any venues around that are quite like it! Bonus: if you get married in the winter- you'll have an amazing indoor space to take photos all day, instead of standing around outside freezing like all the other couples who booked a less-than-gorgeous venue that day! I totally recommend Plains Art Museum for your wedding day!
