The planning process was super smooth, so when it came to the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Serena was amazing to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed. Also, the space is AMAZINGLY gorgeous! We loved that we had the cocktail/social hour on the first floor, dinner on the third floor, and then the dancing back on the first floor (so did our guests!). We were even able to rent out the galleries so that our guests could walk through to see the artwork during the social hour. We would HIGHLY recommend!! -

Right in the heart of downtown Fargo, the Plains Art Museum is a stunning venue that has everything you need for a beautiful wedding. We got married in May 2023 and had our reception here, and it made all our dreams come true! With beautiful architecture it really helps you save on decorating costs because you really want to showcase everything the building already has to offer. We had our dinner and speeches up on the 3rd floor and dancing on the 1st floor - we personally loved this separation because it kept everyone together and close, and it helped getting people dancing through the whole night! Serena was a breeze to work with, fantastic communication - prompt, friendly, informative & was very present - she made sure to check in any time we were there and was ready to answer any & all questions! Book your wedding here, you won't regret it :) -

Perfect, so easy to work with
Penny and Plains Art were extremely easy to work with. Any time I had questions or concerns, Penny was on it. Determined to make the day as perfect and flawless as I wanted it to be. It only took us one walk through to really nail the details and for that I’m grateful. There’s nothing worse than having to repeat your vision or having someone who doesn’t understand. The communication was perfect and they were very responsive. -

Amazing experience beautiful venue
I can express how amazing this venue was for our wedding ceremony. Penny and her staff really went out of there way with making this event beautiful. We were married on the 3rd floor and all the windows made perfect light for our pictures. They were very easy to get a hold of during the wedding process. There is a variety of parking available all around the building. We would definitely recommend and can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make this day perfect. -

We had our wedding at the Plains Art Museum and it was beautiful! Penny our coordinator was so helpful and always quick to respond to allllll of my questions up until the day of our wedding. Penny and her staff were great to work with. I was super impressed with the staff that helped bring things downstairs after the dinner (desserts) and at the end of the night had everything loaded in totes on carts so all we had to do was wheel it out to our vehicles. It was an awesome experience all around and would recommend Penny at the Plains Art Museum! -

The Plains Art is a breathtaking venue, that you can’t find anywhere else in Fargo, ND! Having three levels for your guests to interact on, is so much fun! Penny and Serena are wonderful communicators and were very accommodating to our needs even in the midst of a blizzard! Their small team does it all from set up, tear down, bar tending, event planning and more! The price you pay is worth every dollar! They have top notch preferred vendors for catering and our guests raved about their alcoholic beverage selection (even with only beer and wine for options). Thank you Plains Art Staff!
