Pipershire is a community of bagpipers and drummers whose shared mission is to bring high quality bagpiping and drumming to those outside of the bagpiping and drumming community, throughout Chicago and the upper Midwest. They are developing their presents nationwide as well. Apart from the baseline of any good business (responsiveness, professionalism, "bedside manner", etc.), musicians who play under the Pipershire name must be top tier international competitors, as well as good folks. • bagpipes for after before and/or after the ceremony (as people arrive or leave)
• bagpipes before reception
• bagpipes as part of a wedding party announcement at the reception

Experience:

All musicians have been playing for a minimum of 10 years, with the majority of that time being spent in competing in the upper tiers of international competition. Tom Hinrichsen,Chicago's main bagpiper, has been playing for almost 20 years in total, with over 10 years in the top tiers, and has performed professionally for the duration. Pipershire can provide feedback to any ideas couples have for performances, tune ideas, and are always willing to be flexible. A phone conversation is not a commitment, but can be a big help in the decision making process.
