We found Pioneer Farm after having a terrible experience with another venue. Matt took it upon himself (without even telling us) to fly back from Florida where he was staying with his family to show us the farm in February. Even with six inches of snow on the ground, we could see how gorgeous this venue was and we felt totally taken care of by Matt and his team. This held true throughout our entire planning process and our wedding weekend. Dana (wedding planner) was fantastic to work with and made it clear that whatever we wanted she would make work, while also helping me with some decision fatigue towards the end. Lindsay (co-owner and floral designer) executed my exact vision for our reception and made gorgeous floral arrangements for the houses, my bouquet, and our arch. Henry, Esme, and the rest of the farm team could not have been better- their relaxed attitude but attention to detail was a godsend. I wish we could do it all over again (and quite honestly are looking for excuses to rent the farm and have Anthony Mario cater again). You will not regret working with them!

Working with Pioneer Farm was an absolute dream! We couldn't be happier with our decision to have our wedding on the farm this past June. Matt, Lindsay, and their entire team are exceptional to work with, and the property is gorgeous.

The entire process feels very personable from start to finish. They let you bring your own unique personality, ideas, and vision to the day - no idea is too big or too small, which makes every wedding feel one of a kind - which is exactly what we were looking for.

They were organized, responsive, and extremely collaborative. Our welcome dinner, wedding day, and brunch were all at the farm which provided ease for planning, and our guests loved coming back each day - they fell in love with the farm just as we did!

The team is fast and nimble keeping the plans and vision in tact - rain or shine. They know what they are doing, and it really shows.

The food and drinks were incredible, and Chef Anthony allows you to customize to your own taste and preference. The flowers and decor were so beautiful, from mood boards to execution, we couldn't be happier - so many peonies!

Dana the on-site wedding planner was such a pleasure to work with! She is responsive, organized, and no detail is too small to cover. We knew we were in great hands from the second we met her.

We can't recommend Pioneer Farm enough, it was the most beautiful and special wedding weekend!

My daughter and my new son had their wedding at Pioneer Farms on Memorial Day Weekend 2017. Matt Hedge, Pioneer Farm property owner was a delightful, hard-working, positive, accommodating and happy purveyor that was always asking what he could do to make our stay better! Both Bride & Grooms family stayed in the homes built on the farm in 1875. Everything was charming and perfect. Matt also had Two Tiny Homes and a couple of vintage Air-stream trailers on the property that were occupied by some of our guests. The large white tent was used for dinner and dancing after the wedding was incredible and so much fun. The following day we hosted a breakfast by the pool gardens, that took our breath away.

I hesitate to write this review because I see Pioneer Farm as somewhat of a hidden treasure, that makes more sense stumbling upon on a long drive than finding online. That said, it's a truly magical place--more than 140 acres, with multiple outdoor sites to throw up a tent and have a huge party. There are several lodging options on site for 45+ people, beautiful homes restored from what was an old dairy farm. It's honestly a stunning place with beautiful views in every direction, wild flowers, a gorgeous pool area, wonderful accommodations to suit all different types of aesthetics, a great location near the little village of Warwick, flexibility in terms of how you lay out your ceremony, reception area, cocktail hour, and activities for the weekend, etc. Our wedding was in August 2015 under a full moon with the perfect sunshine for a 5:00pm reception and a little coolness during the evening. The backdrop and light were magnificent. Matt, the proprietor, is the kindest, most easygoing, fun-loving and wonderful person you could have the pleasure of working with. Don't be fooled by his laid back nature, though, as he works incredibly hard to make sure you are happy at your wedding, but not in the stiff, inflexible wedding way that we found at other venues. He's more like a friend who wants to make sure you're happy. It's location 55 miles from NYC makes it the perfect place to actually escape the city, but also close enough for folks who can't stay the weekend or the night. That said, almost everyone stayed the weekend b/c it's just a wonderful place to relax, spend time in nature and spend time with friends. There's also a lot of fun activities nearby. I wish I could get married there all over again!

Reached out to them several times to inquire about holding my wedding there. Never heard back. Property looks beautiful but can't imagine working with a venue that is unresponsive and unprofessional.
