Choosing The Hitching Post at Tetz Family Clydesdale Farm for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. ❤️ From the moment we started planning to the very end of our wedding night, we felt so welcomed and cared for.

The venue and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and so well maintained. The rustic setting with elegant touches was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. The food was incredible, too! Our guests are still talking about it and raving about how delicious everything was!

One thing that really stood out to us was how flexible and prepared the venue was when the weather didn’t exactly cooperate. We ended up having our wedding during a nor’easter, and the team handled everything so smoothly. They had backup plans in place and made sure the outdoor space was comfortable with heaters. Luckily, the rain held off for the most important parts of the day, and I was still able to make my entrance in the horse and carriage! 🐴❤️ Despite the weather, it never took away from our experience or the celebration. We were able to enjoy every moment and had an absolutely amazing time.

A huge thank you to Corey, who was so wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. He made everything feel easy and was always there to help. Jamie was also fantastic on our wedding day and helped make sure everything came together so smoothly. We are so grateful to both of them.

We also want to give a very special thank you to Mr. Tetz and his family, as well as every staff member who was there that night. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best night. That meant so much to us.

We truly felt like we were in good hands, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about the details. We are incredibly thankful to the entire team for helping create a day we will always remember.

From meeting Cory the first time to the end it was a wonderful experience. He heard and met all out needs. Tetz is absolutely beautiful. We had family style dinner that was delicious Wedding dinners sometimes are not delicious, this was the best food I had at any wedding. Everything went smoothly, nothing went wrong except the weather (Nor'Easter), but it did not matter. All the guests raved about the grounds, beautiful barn, food and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the Hitching Post.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! From the moment we toured the property, it was clear how much love and care Joe, Nancy, and their family have poured into this beautiful place. They truly treat every couple like family and go above and beyond to make your wedding day as special and stress-free as possible.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The rustic barn has so much charm, the beautiful wood throughout the property creates endless opportunities for gorgeous photos, and the covered pavilion is the perfect spot for guests to relax, grab a drink from the bar, and take a break from the dance floor while still being part of the celebration.

One of the most unique features is the incredible Clydesdales! We loved having the option to arrive by horse-drawn carriage, it was such a memorable surprise for our guests and made our entrance unforgettable. There’s also a spacious, air-conditioned bridal suite that was perfect for getting ready with our wedding party.

Another huge benefit is their partnership with Otter Creek Country Club for catering and florals. The entire planning process was seamless. After an amazing tasting, we were able to make all of our menu selections with confidence. Their floral team was wonderful, and the maître d’ was exceptional—keeping everything running smoothly and making sure we could simply enjoy every moment of our day. Corey made sure we got exactly what we wanted, and when we said we had a Free Slurpee Idea he ran with it providing everything we needed to make it happen.

The Tetz Family along with the hospitality team at Otterkill Country Club have been nothing short of wonderful during our wedding planning all the way through our wedding day! Our guests had a blast! Many reached out the next morning to let us know that the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding! The landscaping is immaculate, the Clydesdales are majestic, and the attention to detail was unmatched! We would relive our wedding day over and over again if we could, thanks to the amazing work of the whole Tetz Family Team! We would highly recommend this venue to any couple getting married or anyone who is looking to host a big event! 100/10!!

We had the most incredible wedding thanks to Corey and the teams at Otterkill Golf Club and Tetz Family Clydesdale Farm. From the very beginning, Corey made the planning process seamless. The food was beyond fantastic, and the drinks were flowing all night. Corey even went the extra mile to get our favorite beer from a Brooklyn brewery, which was a special touch. Joe Tetz at the farm was super accommodating and allowed us to stop by on multiple occasions prior to the wedding. He keeps such a beautiful property that made for an incredible backdrop to our wedding. The bridal suite is fantastic and the coffee, tea and mimosa spread in the morning was a great addition. The maitre d, Jamie, was exceptionally attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect and that our guests with food allergies were well taken care of. The team handled all the cleanup and made it easy for us to pick up everything the next day. I truly cannot recommend Corey and Tetz Family Clydesdale Farm enough for a flawless and unforgettable wedding experience!

The property is beautiful and beautifully maintained - the pavilion and the barn are wonderful backdrops to any style of event.
The horses are beautiful and make a great backdrop. The options for the location are more than one might think - think arrival via horse drawn carriage - there are several carriages to choose from!!!

Corey was an absolute pleasure to work with. It’s clear he wants to work with his clients to help them have an amazing event. He is very knowledgeable and yet has an easy going way. He worked with Merritt to get the right menu to fit our budget!

Brayden, our maitre d for the event, was very attentive, always smiling and wonderful to us as hosts, our DJ and all the guests. He and his team made our event one that we could simply enjoy - they took care of every detail even when the wind kicked up and the unexpected rain came. The rain did not disappoint- it even brought us a beautiful rainbow!
The rest of the staff were all very helpful and efficient.

I got married here in September, and everything was spectacular! Not only was the property spotless and clean, but the staff and owners of the property were so amazing and accommodating. Corey who was my right hand man took care of everything! He had an answer to ever single question and helped me through the entire process. We loved the horses, they would even come up to say hi! Not to mention the food was delicious. I have some food allergies as well as some guests and Corey made sure myself and each guest got the correct dishes. Everything about this place was amazing. I am so thankful we found them and had our special day there! I wouldn’t have changed one thing. The day was perfect!!
