Wonderful spot, wonderful team

We had our wedding here last fall. The monument is, of course, beautiful and a special wedding venue. But our wedding would have been impossible without the amazing help from the monument's team. If you think about it, to have a wedding there, you need to arrange for a bunch of vendors to get exactly what they need (e.g. electrical sockets, convenient parking, access at various times) and to do exactly what you want (e.g. string lights in just the right places, build the tent far in advance, have a rain plan). The folks at the monument take care of the grounds so it's always in pristine condition, but they made a special effort to help us and our vendors pull off our vision. And they were fun and easy to work with! We'll be staying members of the Monument for a long time.

The most beautiful wedding venue on Cape Cod, perhaps the world. The views and the grounds are more beautiful than you can imagine and the facilities use staff is amazing. Can't say enough! Love, love, love.

We had our wedding at the Pilgrim Monument in late September, and it was outstanding (it didn’t hurt that the weather REALLY cooperated). Our 5:00 p.m ceremony was performed on the base of the Monument itself, and then we rented both sides of the grounds, which allowed us to have a cocktail hour on one half, and the reception (including large tent) on the other. There was more than enough space. Guests used the restrooms attached to the museum, while the newlyweds and those with ambulatory issues had access to the small cottage.

We had visited the Monument several times before choosing it as a venue, but once we reserved it, the Monument staff (Tom Cullen) was very helpful. On the day of (and previous day, when we had our rehearsal) Dan was everywhere and attending to our every need. For this venue, you have to bring in/plan everything yourself, but the monument staff made everything run smoothly. Note: it was great to be able to direct guests to park in the large parking lot overnight.
Aside from being spacious, the grounds are well-maintained and beautiful, regardless of the season (great for pictures). Obviously the Monument itself is picturesque, and we like the idea of spotting it on future Cape visits and being reminded of our wedding.

We knew how beautiful the setting was from our trips up there, but we weren't prepared for how magical and stunning it would be at sunset. It was truly wonderful--even better than anticipated. Thank you!!
