Facilities and Capacity
Couples may host up to 150 guests at Wellfleet Preservation Hall for their ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, elopements, and rehearsal dinners. This gorgeous site offers couples and their loved ones elegant indoor settings, which include preserved original features like crystal chandeliers, wood wainscoting, stained glass windows, and the sloping roof. They have an outdoor garden area that is surrounded by thick, towering trees that will offer your celebration privacy. Also, considering Wellfleet is considered “the art gallery town,” couples will appreciate the many works of art around and inside of the building — there is a sculpture of a heron made of steel, hand-tiled installations, and much more.
Staff at Wellfleet Preservation Hall cannot wait to help you make the best of their venue. They will work closely with you to make sure your event goes exactly how you want it to go. They will even connect you to local, reliable vendors who can also help with your event. Wellfleet Preservation Hall comes with wifi and they will provide chairs. They have a liquor license and offer bar services, which includes bartenders, a cash or open bar, a champagne toast, house liquor, beer, and wine, specialty beer and wine, premium liquor, and a signature drink. They also allow couples to bring in their own outside alcohol.
Couples may enjoy many aspects of Wellfleet Preservation Hall with its three main areas: Simone Reagor Hall, Geiger Hall, and the garden and grounds. Simone Reagor Hall has gorgeous stained glass windows and two, hand-carved doors by artist Johnathan Kendall. Geiger Hall has a restored stage and sound and lighting equipment with atrium doors that lead out to the garden and grounds. The garden and grounds is a private green sanctuary with a cobblestone patio.

Simply the best.
Holding our wedding at the Wellfleet Preservation Hall is going to be one of the best decisions we’ve made in our lives. It was the perfect space for us to bring our families together and have an unforgettable event.
From the moment we saw the space and met the event coordinator Justine we knew it just felt right. Both the space and Justine’s style are professional yet flexible. We were able to work with her to turn the unique array of indoor and outdoor spaces into exactly the event we wanted. The main hall has a spiritual feel that was perfect for our reception, while the lawn and patio were excellent for cocktails and outdoor dining under a tent. When it came time to dance, the downstairs theatre was perfect.
We considered many venues during our wedding planning and without a doubt Preservation Hall was the right one for us. We can’t recommend it highly enough.
