Joe and his assistance were the best and our pictures were fabulous....I highly recommend him.

Joseph Balena did a fabulous job on our wedding photos! I did not have a videographer, and with his pictures I did not need one. He made a slide show for us, and we were able to relive our wedding day, it is beautiful! He also added all kinds of details into the photos, for example there is a photo of our champagne glasses and inside he added two pictures of us kissing, you can just see them. The detail is incredible. He took pictures that I would never have thought would look good, they were incredible. He was also flexible, our original date and location changed 2 months after we booked him and he was able to adapt. We have so many wonderful memories because of Joe!

Made me feel comfortable the whole time. You didnt' even notice he was there half the time cause he wasn't pushy like most photographers only letting you do certain poses. Very inexpensive.
I would definetly use him again.

I would highly recommend Photoscape and Mr. Balena to anyone looking to book a photographer. Yes, his rates may be higher than other photographers, but there is a reason--his work is outstanding and well worth the price. Mr. Balena is a true professional. He was more than happy to answer our questions, and work with us. Additionally, the rate for having two photographers at your event is reasonable when compared to other photographers in the area. Lastly, the wedding DVD is a WONDERFUL momento and a truly unique bonus.

People loved the photo booth, which surprised me. The only problem is that we wasted the first 90 minutes because dinner was served and no one used it except the last hour.

Got back in touch with valid explanations for delay in finished product. Hope to have all resolved by end of May. We're giving him a chance to come through with that promise. Need to see the finished work to give a good recommendation. Will keep you posted.

Amazing pictures! We were in awe of the artistry of his work. I highly recommend the DVD set to music. It will make you/ your mom cry every time. Joe is extremely efficient and professional.

Overall, I was pretty satisfied with choosing Photoscape for my wedding photographer. I absolutely loved my pictures and they offer packages that include the digital coffee table books for wedding albums. It was pretty expensive, but the pictures he took were amazing and I got alot of photos and a digital album, which was something I really wanted. We had some problems with communicating with them after the wedding when we were trying to order our photos. They weren't so good at responding to emails or returning our phone calls. When our coffee table book/wedding album came in, there was a photo missing from one of the pages that was present in the proof pages. They were very quick to get the issue resolved and in the end, we ended up with everything we wanted.

My wedding was almost two years ago now and although the pictures turned out ok I have yet to receive my album that was included in the package I purchased!

One year, still no pictures. Won't respond on issue. Possibly overbooks so as to get money upfront for other jobs in the works. If you stupidly book with this guy, make sure you get a date of commitment that your pictures will be completed by, otherwise, you'll end up like us. O well, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HONEY! It was a great year except for the pictures. Remind me, what did everyone wear at our wedding?
