From start to finish I was well pleased with my session. Barry is very professional knows his craft and is a pleasure to work with. My photos blew me away as his eiting skills are top notch! I’ve worked with many photographers and his is among the best!

His professionalism is horrible and he lacks communication. He will keep you waiting months for photos and will act like nothing ever happened when asked. He has done this to several people in the Charleston area. Save your money and time and hire someone else. He is truly scamming people. I have been waiting two months for photos and he blocked me when I sent him messages asking about them.

I did a lifestyle photoshoot with Barry on Oct 27th for my business and here I am on December 10th still waiting on my pictures. He lacks communication and has a sense of cockiness about him that is nasty. He continues to give myself and my business partner the run around by saying “I will send in an hour” and never follows through and goes weeks without responding. After talking with a few people they also stated how he goes months without communication or sending photos back. After I addressed the issue and told him I wanted my money back he refused and said “the work is done”...and that he would be sending via email. meanwhile it’s about 4 hours now and I still have yet to get any pictures. Most of the reviews left are by people he knows personally so so not be fooled. (I actually know him personally) Save your money and time and hire someone else who is professional because Barry Polk is not. I will be seeing him in small claims court to get my money back.
