This past December our daughter and now son-in-law were married at Hollow Hill event center in Weatherford. We used PHOTOConcepts as our photographer(s). They took excellent pictures throughout, beginning to end. It was a Christmas theme wedding and the photographers made the most use of the decorations spread throughout the venue. I would definitely recommend their services for any wedding or event requiring a photographer. We opted for the digital delivery and the pictures were provided in an expeditious manner.

We got married in May 2021. When we started our vendor search, I was between 2 photographers. I called both photographers on the same day to ask a few questions. After I hung up with Gus and his wife, I instantly knew I had to book with them. They were incredibly helpful and sweet, answering questions I didn’t even know I had!

Throughout the whole wedding process, from the consultation to bridal portraits to the day-of and beyond, we have loved working with this family team. They beautifully captured the essence of our wedding day in both the photos and the video. They put so much care into their work, and it really shows! We are so proud to show off our video and photos to our family members, all thanks to Gus and his team. I honestly still get emotional watching the video and looking back through the photos.

A little about the team: I chose to do bridal portraits with them, so I got the chance to meet them before the wedding day. I immediately felt at-ease: they asked me questions about me and my fiancé, knew the things to say to make me “real-smile,” and knew all the best poses. On the day-of, they were firm with the timeframe, making sure we got a great number of poses in the tight-ish amount of time we’d planned. What I loved is that they didn’t need to ask me a million questions on that day; they’d already asked beforehand, so on my wedding day, all I had to do was smile at my new husband while they snapped away! I never had to stress about whether we got “that photo,” because they already knew. I’m lumping all this with their videography as well, since we purchased a package that included both.

I can’t say enough great things about Gus and his team. I can assure you, if you are a bride in the DFW area, look no further. Seriously. It’s a big deal to trust in someone with your future memories, but these guys deliver.

I found PHOTOconcepts at a wedding vendor show 4 weeks before our wedding. After meeting Gus and his daughters, I knew I wanted to work with them. They have such fun and positive energy, and it carried all the way through planning and onto our wedding day. We shared many laughs and were so comfortable during our shoots. Our wedding was bicultural and had many elements of an east African wedding woven into the ceremony. Gus was so considerate by asking about my cultural values and traditions ahead of time to make sure he could prepare for our big day. The day of our ceremony was captured so beautifully!!! Every shot is romantic and naturally stunning. We had so many shots to choose from, and all the shots were from different ranges and angles. High quality work!!!

Additionally, the team at PHOTOconcepts is so gracious and accommodating. After my wedding, I had many life changes thrown at me. I got so behind that I forgot to upload all the wedding photos that were sent to us!!! After a few moments of panic, I reached out to Gus and he re-uploaded the photos for us to download. So kind and understanding. I recommend anyone looking for a photo vendor to use PHOTOconcepts!

I highly recommend using PHOTOconcepts on your big day. We had an outdoor ceremony at the Arboretum, and our photographers were AMAZING. Not only did they make us feel comfortable before and after the wedding ceremony, but they were also so creative with our shots and poses. With our nerves and excitement running high, it was awesome that I could rely on our photographers to create such photo worthy concepts. When our photos arrived, we had over 2k shots that were beautiful and unique in so many ways. If you want a professional that will memorialize your wedding with care and creativity, then this is the vendor for you!

What can I say about Gus and his amazing daughters from PhotoConcepts?

They will sweat with you in this Texas heat in June (Bridal portraits) and August (Wedding) and never once slow down! They make you feel so confident and comfortable, I know we chose the best photographers when we met! Gus is not like the other photographers we met with when searching for a wedding photographer. He never tried to push a certain package or service, he simply gave us many options to fit any budget. He didn't call or text for days/weeks trying to see if he was going to get our business, he let us have our space to make our own decision. Most vendors (cake, DJ, etc.) we met with would not leave us alone wanting to push us into a quick decision. After our first meeting with Gus and his team, we knew that he was genuine person.
