Phil was a wonderful photographer the day of our wedding! He was very accommodating and willing to work flexibly with the locations and shots that we wanted to include, but also has a wonderful eye and took a lot of candids that are so important and special on the day of your wedding. Phil did such a great job as our wedding photographer. We really wanted someone who would capture the real feeling of our day and he did! Our wedding was VERY intimate with family only (less than 20 people) and Phil blended in perfectly not making a scene to capture the photos. He went above and beyond making sure he got into the activities....before the service started, during the service, and at our reception. He even got us en route from one place to the next!! We have the photos but Phil also created a book for us which we decided to purchase for ourselves as a remembrance, as well as for both of our parents as a gift. We were so pleased with the results and would highly recommend him to anyone for excellent wedding photos.

Planning for our wedding photography, we researched for quality, variety and value . We achieved all of those qualities with Phil. One of my other concerns was having my husband be comfortable with the photographer and smile naturally. After the first meeting with Phil, those concerns were alleviated. Phil is very personable and able to connect with both of us. You know and feel that he loves what he does and being a part of the special day. He was not intrusive and ultimately, wants to capture the wedding and not interfere. Phil was amazing to work with. Before the wedding he made sure to check with us about what kind of pictures we were looking for. He listened to my requests and took the specific shots I requested. He also managed to capture the ceremony and reception without blocking the view for my guests. Pavely Photography was recommended to me by an acquaintance. He came highly recommended and lived up to all of my expectations. From the beginning at the initial consultation and after the wedding, he was professional, easygoing, and responsive. The package we chose included engagement pictures which turned out beautiful. He arrived early to the site of the engagement pictures to scope out the best areas for photos. He was prepared and had a plan of action. We trusted his judgement and suggestions. My husband and I were initially uncomfortable because we are not typically people to be jumping in front of the camera. Phil put us at ease and provided input on how to position ourselves for the best pictures. And to reiterate, the photographs were beautiful. He captured some very loving and candid shots. My husband and I were hesitant to purchase the package with the engagement photos, but looking back it was one of the best decisions for multiple reasons. The main reason being, we were able to get a feel for Phil prior to the wedding day. We established trust and confidence in his abilities, and the photographer was one less thing we needed to worry about on our wedding day. The planning leading up to the wedding was less stressful because of Phil's experience. He had everything outlined for the day of the wedding; arrival time, location, list of the photographs we requested at the church and reception. Despite having all of this planned, he was flexible and willing to go outside in the rain for a few last minute requests ( which are some of the best pictures). Phil found a way to grasp the emotion in the photographs. He captured the intensity of the ceremony and the fun/party atmosphere at the reception. And this was all done discretely. One of the most impressive qualities was his ability to capture the most intimate moments. Choosing a good photographer was a priority for me and Phil Pavely surpassed all of my expectations.

Phil is truly a talented, professional photographer and his experience showed on our wedding day. He was very reliable and flexible which was important because it was one less thing we had to stress about. We went to several locations for pictures and he was able to capture the moment at each one. I have been to weddings where the photographers get in the way of guests, especially during the ceremony, but this certainly was not the case for us. Phil really knows what he is doing and the pictures turned out AMAZING! He didn't miss a beat, I couldn't ask for a better photographer. We always get compliments on pictures when guests come over. Phil was very quick to give us our pictures after the wedding which really speaks to his commitment to clients. Book Phil Pavely Photography now! He is efficient, stayed longer than he needed, and got some amazing shots of the wedding, reception and our guests! Phil would be my first choice for any occasion, and his price was FAR less than others who clearly try to gouge the consumer. He his prices are competitive, but not ridiculous.
