Phyllis made our wedding absolutely perfect. The photos turned out great, and she was a joy to work with. She really takes the time to get to know her customer and make you feel super comfortable. I was especially impressed with her ability to wrangle everyone and get such incredible photos all night -- and it was JUST HER. Would recommend to absolutely anyone.

Phyllis really helped to make our wedding everything we hoped it would be. To begin with, she worked with us to arrange our dream engagement photo when the Cherry Blossoms bloomed downtown. Fighting through hundreds of tourists, she captured some incredible shots that made it look like we were there alone.
Our wedding was particularly challenging to shoot because of the low lighting in the venue we chose. You would never know how dark it was, her photos came out perfect.
In addition to really priceless and incredible photos, Phyllis was easy to work with and wedding guests kept coming up to us to say how much they liked her. She kept the wedding party on target, focused, and caught all the special moments my husband and I had together throughout the night.
We couldn't have done it without her!

I cannot recommend Phyllis highly enough. She was so wonderful to work with, in all aspects of the wedding process. We absolutely love her photos, from our engagement shoot to all the big and small moments of our wedding day. She is thoughtful, creative and efficient and it shows in her work. What can I say about Phyllis Petronello? My wife and I were immediately drawn to Phyllis's photography on her website. Her photos are artfully placed human emotion. So we were thrilled when she was available to be our photographer.

Little did we realize how pleased we would be. Our engagement and wedding photos are simply spectacular. We had so many we liked that we are struggling to pick favorites. When we see Phyllis's photos of us and our families, I see how my mind's eye sees them, in their own beauty. They're not fake or photoshopped, it's as if she captured their inner light. She managed to capture so many great moments at our ceremony and reception that we have even better memories of our special day.

Beyond the actual photographs, Phyllis is a pleasure to work with. She's great at time management; we got all of the group photos we wanted because she was able to keep the session moving (important for our large families). My husband and I are SO glad we chose Phyllis to do our engagement and wedding photography. Not only is she a talented and hard-working photographer, but she's also an incredibly nice person who we were genuinely glad to have around on our big day. Despite having a full time job, Phyllis was always responsive, flexible, and organized. And man can she roll with the punches! Up until the night before our wedding it was not forecasted to rain until after the ceremony, leaving us free to do our first look and family/wedding party pictures outside. But the morning of our wedding it was clear this forecast had been entirely wrong because it was already raining! Phyllis texted me first thing that morning not to worry...she had umbrellas :) Phyllis had scouted the area around our venue the week before, so she had several ideas ready to go depending on how far I was willing to walk in the rain and whether we needed to be under cover or not. Everything turned out perfect (I actually LOVE our first look shots with the umbrellas) and we were even able to get some wedding party shots outside during a brief break in the drizzle! Phyllis was amazing, jumping in and out of puddles to capture different angles before the skies opened up again.
Phyllis is passionate, dependable, and fun and we would highly recommend her!

Phyllis traveled to Philadelphia to do our engagement photos, and it was an amazing experience. We asked a lot of her, to run all over the city in unbearable August heat and take our photos at all our favorite places and hopefully mange is look cute while we're all drenched in sweat. Phyllis actually managed to overdeliver. She has an incredibly keen eye for how to compose sweet and personal images in the most crowded and touristy spots. She was so patient with us and helped us get past our initial awkwardness of trying to be overly cheesy and posing for the camera. She also takes photos non-stop (I saw her swap out multiple memory cards!), so you never have to worry about her missing something. And I love the website she uses to share the final photos... Beautiful and easy to share. I will absolutely be recommending her to all my friends and family.

I can't begin to sing Phyllis's praises enough! What I love most about my now-husband is his silly yet sweet side and how he interacts with me (gets me to feel good about myself) and Phyllis captured our relationship dynamic so perfectly! She is just great with making you feel comfortable in your own shoes especially, if you're not used to being professionally photographed. She's also extremely personable, has great ideas for picture-taking locations, and can blend in so well with her surroundings that you don't even realize she's there. I remember thinking during our reception that, "oh, this would be a great picture . . ." and BOOM, she was already there taking it! It's like she does the work of three people - she seems to be everywhere at once.

Phyllis is very affordable and goes above and beyond with ensuring you receive high quality photos. She's very responsive and open to your ideas. She was even so nice as to help us carry our belongings and hunt people down for us for family portraits. She's awesome at sticking to the agreed upon schedule and with keeping everything moving. She's truly a master at her craft and if I could go back in time, I would choose her every day of the week and twice on Sunday! Will definitely call her up again for family portraits (when that day comes).

Phyllis performed beyond expectations! She was quick to respond to all emails and questions, and accommodated all my wedding photography needs. We had a few sit down meetings ahead of time that were very helpful to establish overall timelines and expectations for the day.
