Daria and Mike are a fantastic team. From the moment I contacted Daria she was available and ready to answer all of my questions. I got to know Daria when she shot our engagement photos and it was so easy to connect with her and take direction. She was super flexible with changes during the pandemic as well.
When the wedding came around, Daria was above and beyond making things run smooth, she thought of so many little things that would have been easy for me to forget on such a busy day. We were always in contact so I had a clear idea of how everything would go. Mike and Daria work so well to capture different parts of the day and keep things flowing. It felt way more like having old friends at the wedding rather than a vendor. She took all of my ideas and thoughts into account and spent extra time to make my vision a reality.
As for getting the pictures back, Daria always follows through on her timeline and is usually early. She even met with me to give me the photo book of our wedding that she made so personal. I would absolutely reccomend Petit-eclair and will be using them for many years to come!

Daria and Mike were incredibly flexible when, like many 2020 weddings, we had to reschedule, then downsize from 300 guests at a large venue to just 30 in my parents’ backyard. Even though the yard was such a tight space, they were able to get beautiful shots without blocking anyone, and were totally unobtrusive. Their communication throughout the planning and replanning process was responsive and encouraging.

For the group shots, Daria gave calm, cheerful, capable direction, and made everyone feel great during the process.

As an officiant, I work with many different vendors. Daria was wonderful to work with - she is both warm and professional. Our mutual couple did a first look and took their formal pictures before the ceremony. Daria moved people in and out of the tableaux quickly without making the couple or their wedding party feel rushed. She also captured beautiful pictures of the ceremony without intruding on the ceremony itself. The end results are gorgeous! I have another wedding with Daria later in 2020, and I can't wait to work with her again!

Daria was such a sweetheart from day one !!! I found her in one of the Rochester Wedding Facebook groups as a recommendation and quickly fell in love with her photography style. There were certain qualities that we were looking for in our wedding photographer including, but not limited to, organizational skills, able to give direction, reasonably priced within our budget/budget focused and of course, have a unique style that we enjoyed. With Daria, I can easily say that we received all of that PLUS MORE. We had an amazing initial phone conversation with her to talk ideas and give a basic outline for the day. Then after that, we set up our first in-person meeting. Our conversations were great and we could truly see the passion she has for photography. And that’s when we decided to go with Petit-Eclair.

We booked a package with her that included an engagement session, a photo book that would include 25-30 of our favorite wedding pictures, and her husband as a second shooter.

We had a fun time with Daria during our engagement shoot. We received so many beautiful images. There were so many favorites that we couldn't decided at first which one we wanted to use for our save the dates. When we finally picked one, Daria offered her help to design our perfect print-ready save the dates. They came out exactly how we pictured thanks to her !

Our wedding day was a bit crazy, as I’m sure many are, haha. She gave quick direction, but didn’t intervene on those special moments… just captured them. Her organizational skills were exactly what we needed on an important day that tends to be VERY hectic. She also sent us all the final photos within a week !! We were both shocked at how quick she was able to edit them and send them to us !! When I first saw the photos, not going to lie, I ugly cried. They came out perfect. Daria and her husband captured all the beautiful and funny moments from our day. We can’t wait to get the formals printed and gift them to our families ! We also can't wait to receive the photobook.
